Froch vs Bute - score at the time of stoppage

An argument could be made for Bute getting the first 2 rounds (the first moreso than the second) as they were pretty close rounds. Froch got landed on clean but took the shots very well and kept putting the pressure on. Personally, I gave Bute the first and thought Froch got the 2nd on activity.

I'd give Froch that 10-8 in the 3rd, too.

 

1st - Froch (10-9) - by 1 punch (could have gone either way)
2nd - Froch (10-9) by 2 or 3 better landed punches
3rd Froch (10 - 8 ) by beatdown
4th Froch (10-9)

5th Froch was clearly going to get the KO, stoppage or towel thrown in (could see people at ringside in the crowd waving to call it off lmao)


By the end of the 2nd I knew froch could win it either by knockout or decision. he controlled that sh*t.

 

Excellent scoring, same score and same analysis of each one here. Those first 2 rounds were close but Froch took both. After 2 rounds I wasn't expecting a win for Froch yet, but things weren't looking good for Bute.

 

you could make an argument for round 1 but it was damn close, could have gone either way. No way Bute takes the second round that was all Froch and then all Froch from that point on.

This seems like an extremely odd choice of fight to go deeply into the scores for.

 

Bute never won a round. The closest was the 1st.

I gave Williams the fifty-five seconds of the 2nd against Martinez in the rematch.
