    lol brilliant!

For a while I have thaught that if Froch wins this fight Calzaghe will be on the cards, but although it was impressive method of victory it seems obvious that style and skills wise he is and never will be on joes radar.

without a doubt would end in Joe C UD

i understand your point and to an extent i do agree, but to be honest even though taylor was never champion a smw he is one of the top boxers in the division and probably more skilled than the rest, styles makes fights taylor didnt stand and trade much which is why froch looked ****, he probably will get exposed in the next 5-6 fights but i honestly believe he brings enough power, heart and a good chin to dishearten fighters like kessler and bute thats all im saying ,he has a better chance of beating those fighters then he did against taylor simply because of taylors skills and experience but then again kessler and bute do gas out at the end but not as badly as taylor itll be interesting if those fights happen

Froch is a fighter which Calzaghe would beat easily.

Froch should just let it go already and try and carve his own legacy. However, if he got his wish to fight JC at 168, it might not be the massacre people are saying. You'd be asking Calzaghe who is on the slide physically, to once again trim down to 168 and have endless stamina? I'd certainly favour him to beat Froch if he does sign to fight him, but it's not a sure thing.

What round, other than the first and maybe the second could they have possibly given to RJJ?

The fight was scored accurately by the judges.

Calzaghe would beat Froch, but I think he will stay retired.

I was reading through this thread, and could not help but think about how well Joe moves in and out, side to side, and how fast his hands are. If this fight happens, I would not be surprised to see some kind of mercy stoppage. Either Froch's corner stopping it, or the ref just deciding it's pointless to let Froch continue.

Joe is a class above Froch and would box his shorts off. Froch should forget he ever heard Joe's name.

How do you see this going if Froch can talk Calzaghe out of his retirement?

Calzaghe is pretty much the worst style matchup Froch could encounter. Better stamina, higher workrate, much faster hand and foot speed and a superior use of angles.

I like Froch he is exciting and wants to fight, but give up on Calzaghe! Not only is he not going to come back, but if he did he would destroy Carl Froch and make him look extremely amateurish. Worse fight Froch could have style wise. Froch V Kessler is the fight to make. That would be a *******.

I see Froch getting the **** slapped out of him for 12 rounds. I think he assumes like most of Calzaghes opponents that he'll just walk through his barrage of arm punches and knock him out.

He won't, there might not be a chance of Froch getting KO'd but the work rate of JC will smother Froch and he'll be outpointed. Joe has a good chin and outstanding stamina.

I like Carl Froch, for all his limitations he brings an exciting fight but he wouldn't be winning this one.
