...this fight should never happen. They will have to evacuate Wales, the floods of tears would be that high. Froch is too accurate, too conditioned and most of all too powerful for Calzaghe. If Joe threw those flapping shots at the Cobra he would be eating the right uppercut once and only once. Joe looked flabby & shabby at 175lb, he looked smooth and lacked any bonus muscularity in the higher class. Enzo would have a melt down as Froch clocked Joke with hard shot after hard shot :| Give up the belts Joe, as we all expect you to, then cite "you don't need titles at this stage of your career" and then fight that shell of Roy Jones for your 'legacy' LMAO. Ta Ta :good
But the chances are that it will happen. I mean how is Joe going to be able to resist pitting himself against such an unbeaten 22 fight 30 year old prospect at this stage of his career?!?!
yes carl get of the forum and fight in nottingham with 100 people and pretend your as good as calzaghe, get his DVD out u might learn some tricks from a fighter too higher level for you to reach
It was always one of the things I wanted to do: See Calzaghe live in Vegas against a big name. It didn't disappoint really. I actaully enjoyed the fight which may come as a surprise to some but we always knew it wasn't exactly going to be a Gatti-Ward type of affair. The price was steep but the whole weekend was brilliant.. well worth whatever I paid and however many dollars I lost in the casinos!
Atmosphere was fantastic wasn't it, I really enjoyed the fight as well. Where did you stay POW? I was at the Mandalay Bay, did ok on the gambling as well :yep
Glad to hear you had a good time. I too enjoyed the fight, it may not have been a classic but was exciting for different reasons. Did you take any pictures or bring back any memorabilia?
