Calzaghe's thunderous shot to the bollocks - I think the crowd reaction sums it up best.

I'm glad to see Hennessy Sports have a representative on ESB - spouting the usual shite that appears on your web site.

    Classic.

Were you posting on here when they used to start a new thread about every little thing that happened down there? That really pissed me off. VIP's weekly updates are fine and unintrusive but **** me they were starting threads like 'Froch claims he has too much power for Groenewold'....It got to a stage where about 3/4 of the page was there stupid threads. In the end the Jeffro and a small elite unit of ESB misery bags told them to '**** off!'.

A right uppercut Is too slow to catch Calzaghe, It's a straight right that does, how many more morons buy Into Froch and Hennessey's bull****.

I wouldn't mind the fight though as Froch would get schooled and Hennessey as usual would be daft enough to throw his fighters Into the lions den when there clearly not good enough like with Walker Vs Karmazin.

    Probably not.....

I had a quick look on their website earlier today, and have found some classics.......

Hennessy believes Witter’s task against Harris is more difficult than the one Manchester’s unbeaten Hatton faced when he stopped Mexican Jose Luis Castillo in four rounds in America in June.

“I think what Ricky did by going out to Las Vegas and stopping Castillo the way he did was brilliant, but I feel Junior has got a tougher opponent in front of him on September 7th,” said Hennessy.

“Harris is a far harder opponent than Castillo who wasn’t I believe a proven fighter at light-welterweight like Harris is, who is a former world champion in this division and big at the weight.

“Harris is a dangerous opponent and this is a chance for Junior to really make a name for himself in a competitive world title fight.

“This could be an explosive fight and if Junior wins – which I’m confident he will do in style – then the public will be demanding a fight between Witter and Hatton like never before, what ever the outcome of Ricky against Floyd Mayweather.

    >> Hatton will make far more money fighting me than Castillo or N’Dou.
    >> We have the longest rivalry in boxing today.

“Nothing else makes sense for Hatton apart from this fight, unless he is scared. Unless he knows what I do, that I will knock him out. If he decides he wants it, the only other issue is timing.
“There is a window of opportunity here, but if we are not careful we are going to miss it and this fight will never happen.”
“If we are going to meet, it has to be this summer. This fight has to take place in a football stadium. It makes sense to go to his backyard and I have never had a problem with doing that.
“That obviously can’t happen in the winter and if anyone thinks this fight can wait until 2008 they are badly mistaken. Someone will have caught up with Hatton by then. If he wants the biggest fight of his career, he has to step up now.
“I suspect he won’t. That’s fine. I can concentrate on securing my own legacy without having the fact that I avoided potentially the biggest fight in British Boxing history on my conscience. “But if he doesn’t, I think he has to go down as a bottler. I know he’s just had his annual ‘s**t shirt’ competition, but perhaps it should have been ‘s**t pants’ instead, as he would have won that hands down this year. That’s all he seems to do when my name is mentioned.”

“I’m not thinking that far ahead,” he stressed. “I want to get that green belt round my waist first. Mayweather has to fight me before the end of June and I will start making decisions after that. I am sure that there will be plenty of opportunities once I am champion, but I will leave Mick to handle that.”

“If I can beat Tatevosyan, a final eliminator for Joe’s title could be in the pipeline. That would then make a fight with Joe even more of a possibility.
“If I become his mandatory challenger, he will have to face me or give up the world title he has had for ten years. There should be no hiding then. Then people will acknowledge I’m world class and start demanding the fight to happen. “Calzaghe will not be happy with himself retiring with me on his case saying he should fight me. He’s a proud man and he shouldn’t want to give up the belt to avoid fighting me. But maybe he’s looking to just make a fortune in the easiest way possible before he retires.

“Wasn’t Ashira down to fight Takaloo a few years ago at light middleweight? He definitely looked two weight divisions below Calzaghe.”

‘The Cobra’ may have been dismayed by the obvious disparity in size between WBO champion and challenger, but he was far from surprised.

“I have come to expect Joe to pick on easy targets,” Froch added. “I believe he is nothing but a bully

    Classics.

It's always the ****ing same about how hard done by they are, how everyone is ducking them, how they could beat anyone etc.

Wellington from Hennessey sports posted this on boxrec.

Carl Froch says he will produce a better performance than Joe Calzaghe did at the weekend in his WBC Super-Middleweight Title Final Eliminator against Denis Inkin (Russia) at the Trent FM Nottingham Arena on May 10.

British champion Froch (22-0) 18 KO’s was not overly impressed by Clazaghe's points win over Bernard Hopkins in Las Vegas on Saturday.

'Cobra' Froch (Nottingham, England) fights Inkin live on ITV1 in the UK and on a slight delay on a ShoBox special in the US for the right to be the next mandatory challenger for the WBC title held by Calzaghe.

"I've been a big Calzaghe fan down the years and I obviously wanted him to win, but it was a terrible performance from him and I thought Hopkins did enough on the night," said Froch.

"Calzaghe was messy and inaccurate with his punches. Nothing really landed on Hopkins. I thought Calzaghe got beat”.

"To be fair to Joe styles make fights and Hopkins was just looking to spoil later on, but I intend to give a better performance against Inkin. I'm treating this as a world title fight even though it is a final eliminator because I think Joe would rather give up the belt than fight me, I’m to fresh and to dangerous."

Also on the Hennessy Sports bill is Junior Witter's (Bradford, England) next defence of his WBC Light-Welterweight Title against his mandatory challenger Timothy Bradley (Palm Springs, USA).
