Froch vs Dawson at 170: Who wins?

Well there is the whole "landing" element.

The ****? What were Glen Johnson, Abraham, Bute, and Pascal? Bad fighters? There's a difference between "good" and "best".

 

Glen was Old Abraham was small Bute was a hype job. Pascal is a good fighter. Dawson outboxes Froch just like Ward Dirrell and Kessler did

 

Let's not forget that Dawson's coach was saying that he was not able to take a punch below 174 and that Edison Miranda (sparring) and Andre Ward (that is not a puncher) knock the **** him out under these circumstances. Froch would kill him and even at 175, it's an awful match up for him.

 

Glen was old but still clearly good. Bute had skills and used them in beating Johnson after he competed well with Froch. Abraham wasn't too small to be good enough to destroy Jermain Taylor's career. I favor Dawson to win but it's a different dynamic.

 

I have zero doubt that Floyd Sr. was telling the truth. Chad is insanely lazy, but Chad does too many things better. Footwork, timing, range control. All Dawson . Dirrell has more power, bu Chad applies his craft on a higher level.

Man enough :rofl Froch ducks no one and did better vs Ward and Pascal :rofl:roflatsch Dawsons only good wins* are against 40 yr old men, who Froch also did better against (Johnson)

 

The Dawson blueprint is there put pressure on him and he will fold it was already there before the ward fight though.Dawson doesn't like being hit and roughed up if anything Dawson is tailor made for Froch.I can see Dawson outboxing Froch for a while but Froch will break his will as Dawson doesn't have the pop to keep Froch away.

Dawson is a bit of an arm puncher in my opinion he's fast and all but doesn't seem like he can crack an egg.

Dawson also has stamina issues in my opinion he fades midway which again plays right in to Froch's hands as he has energy and brings it round 1-12.

Is Dawson capable of outboxing Froch ? yes but I just cant see how he'll keep Froch away with those arm punches.

 

Adamek, Diaconu, and Johnson all put pressure on him and he didnt fold. atsch

 

Those fighters are not on Froch's current level of intensity hunger and will power I think it would be like bute froch all over again but in the later rounds.

Froch would be too hungry too intense for dawson especially after a loss like that.

Dawson definitely lacks will power and punching power two things that are very bad news if you are fighting froch.

Froch will smile at his arm punches and bumrush him did you even see the punches that floored dawson against ward ? they weren't even hard punches man froch bullies dawson in to a tko win.

yall need to go back and watch froch vs ward again yes ward outboxed him comfortably but froch was always in the fight and had his moments you never felt like froch had given up unlike Mr Dawson.

Added to all this at 170 dawson might be drained and Froch is a strong finisher I just cant see how Dawson can win.

 

I gpt Froch.. only because its under 175.. at 175.. I don't think Pascal Cloud Froch or Cleverly beat Dawson.. and afte rthe Pascal fight.. I can assess if Dawson could beat Ward at 175... but this is all if Dawson has not lost all confidence
