As being a better fighter. It doesn't matter if you don't like his style. Cause there were a few times when I wanted to leave the room when Dirrell was running or holding like crazy. But, Dirrell was deducted a point and I think he should have for fouling as often as he did. Dirrell won the fight, was a better fighter and left Froch swinging at air all night. Froch couldn't of landed more than twenty clean shots all night. When Dirrell actually did fight he made Froch look foolish.

Before the fight I picked Froch to win.

Do us a favor wipe Froch's man juice from your face !!

The only time Froch could put Dirrell down was if he threw him down ..Last I checked thats not boxing .I guess you were waiting for a soccer hooligan brawl thats why you guys don't appreciate boxing ..From now on I will refer to the Matrix as Froch's daddy because he beat his face in like a red headed step child !! Hey but congrats Froch really deserved that win with such a stellar performance .

What really amazed me is those percise winging light punches that couldn't find his mark man Froch is such a beast :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Exactly...These Froch stans seem to dismiss all of Froch's roughhouse tactics.

I was sure it would be called a draw.

****ing horrid fight. Dirrell and Froch should be ashamed of themselves.

Froch was messy, ungainly and ugly in his own style and should have been docked a point also.

Dirrell was indulging in gamesmanship too. If anybody cares to watch that abortion again watch for him swinging from Froch, taking a knee on two occasions and disguising it as a slip when he was wide open, sticking his head under Froch's oxter at every opportunity and inviting the foul.

You can actually hear his trainer telling him to do this between two rounds.

Bad stylistic clash, bring on the next fights.

I'm not as studied as some but it seems like boxing in Europe is rising - I could be wrong - and at best holding steady in the USA. Other than that, I think there is plent of $ to made in the US (Vegas, AC, NY, LA, HBO, Showtime etc.). There is just no need to go elsewhere to make the big bucks.

Okay going to cut down all these stupid posts on how Dirrell was 'robbed'. He lost and deserves to lose.

All this 'He landed more punches output blah blah than Froch missing everything'....

Froch missing everything was an exaggeration. His punches might not be clean but he did hit him.

The fact was hardly any punches were thrown by either fighters. When there were less punches thrown than in light sparring you are going to give it to the guy that is actually trying to fight then the guy that is running, hugging, diving around to avoid fighting.

Just because Dirrell landed two punches to Carl landing one punch in a round and therefore 'higher output' doesn't mean jacks. There was no fight. All I saw was just one guy chasing the other guy around the ring.

Dirrell took running to a whole new level. He was practically sprinting like he was in a 100m race.

This guy atrocious display of 'boxing' and people are trying to justify he should win 'cos he ran around the ring and sneaks in one punch and therefore 'higher output'? Totally rubbish.

And yes I said 'sneak'. There is a difference between boxing on the outside and pot shotting then throwing one punch then hug, dive or sprint away again before he gets hit back.

It is great for boxing that Dirrell lost. It is great that you can't win a belt from running around and sneaking in a few punches to become champion. From what I saw, Dirrells whole game plan was to survive the fight and not get hit at all. I don't think he ever thought he could have won.

How can anybody defend his performance is beyond me. The fight was bad because Dirrell made it bad. I hope I never see another one of Dirrell's 'fights' again. He needs to learn what that word means.

I tell you what: Mayweather is an awesome fighter. Anyone who compares what Dirrell did last night to Floyd is doing Mayweather a huge disservice.
