Didn`t Bradley win the WBC l/welterweight title from Junior Witter in Britain over 12rds ? Was that a hometown decision? Calzaghe beat Jeff Lacy in Manchester,Britain for 12rds for his IBF belt. Was that a hometown decision? Willie Jorin from California beat British fighter Micheal Brodie over 12rds for the WBC featherweight title in Manchester,Britain. Was that a hometown decision? I could give you other examples to answer to your disparaging comment if i wanted. If Dirrell won that title,he wouldn`t of deserved it.
So you want the fighters and promoters to do without the money a decent live gate provides? This Super 6 isn't a law above boxing, its not going to change how boxing works financially....its just a tournament.
cause 99% of boxing fans couldn't score a fight properly if their lives depended on it, even if they're watching it on TV
He wasn't slipping, he was taking a knne...the ref can't give him an 8 without a legal punch landing. The man was taking a dive to avoid contact
I thought it was close but I think Andre didn't "TAKE" the title. He may have outboxed Froch but he didn't do what I thought he could have or should have in order to take the mans title in his backyard. I think it was a decent decision and could have gone either way but it didn't....the champ is still champ b/c Dirrell didn't do enough to really take his title.
says the guy from TEXAS did you forget how Bradley won a decision against Witter? Maybe you weren't watching boxing yet back then.
When I see a fight live, I'm always amazed of the incapacity of my seat neighbours to score the fight. It's not a point to say "I was there".
I was listening to fight on BBC 5 live radio and Spencer Oliver and Mike Castello who were commentators made Dirrell the winner by at least a round. They weren`t criticising the performance from either fighter too much but felt Dirrells eye catching shots did just enough to win it.So that`s evidence of non bias for you!!
