Froch vs Dirrell controversy thread

You talk sense, but you won't find too many people willing to listen. You'll be labelled a Froch nuthugger within minutes by the likes of Scar, tliang1000 et al.

 

hard fight to score?
There are 4 critrita in judging a fight you know.
1) clean punches. Hmm i wonder who took this category
2) effective aggression - hmm looks like froch didn't do much of anything. He can't even get past dirrell's jab and lead left half the time.
3) Ring generalship - if u count following dirrell around the ring getting hit is.
4) Defense - Hmm i wonder who took this category too.

Really hard.

 

Dirrell didn't do much alright. We know he threw much and landed more, ran more and clinch more. sounds like he was doing all kinds of things to score. I still didn't hear what froch did though:good

 

I think you'll find it's traditional to score round by round, not just pick a winner from who won best of four from your list....

 

You forgot in the UK it works a bit different they have an entire different way to score fights....

1) Get out worked by an american

2) be less accurate with your shots, throw them wild cave man like for extra points..

3) foul when ever you get a chance, behind the head body slamming is preferred..

4) make sure the judges in your home town spend most of the day drinking before they are seated to score the fight....



if you do all of this right you will have a win at the end of the night....

btw swinging at air is opposite of effective aggression. Just merely an angry and fusterated look doesn't count as effective aggression.

Umm that would be Dirrell

Cleaner more effective shots Dirrelll (that covers clean punching)

Ring General ship Dirrell ( Froch could not cut off the ring and get his game going with any regularity)

Defense goes to Dirrell (Froch was out landed out worked the entire night unless you count blocking shots with his face.)

Effective (Key word here for the ******s) aggression (Not Froch his **** was not effective at all)

so out of four of the categorys Dirrell had three of them, was not aggressive because he boxed, However the aggression on the part of Froch was not effective at all......
