Hey brother....not only did Dirrell stand the "heat", but he beat the brakes off of it and made it look like the B-level "flame" that it is.
It was a good start, you are bound to run into some fights that just don't match-up for a good fight stylisticly. Hope the worst is past us in Froch vs Dirrell. I really don't want to see Taylor continue, for his healths sake. What was agreed on as far as replacing a fighter who cant continue?
That's right...he took it much better than most of the people on this forum. My goodness...what a bunch of babies!!
They just like watching him suck that dick, Yep I guess carl made a deal with the judge's and the ref, let me win and ill suck your dicks...:hey
You will always have bad "stylistic" match-up when you have someone running all night, hugging, falling down untouched, and constantly disrupting flow of the game. The way to avoid this match-up is not to invite the guy with style like that to the tournament. Watch for this poor stylistic match in his every fight. Can't believe Showtime let that happen.
Guys...this was in no way a robbery. In reality, Dirrell made a better showing than most expected. This does not translate into Dirrell decisively winning the fight. It was an ugly, boring, stinker of a fight...which could have gone either way....hence the split decision. I really can't believe that most on this forum have a serious problem with the decision.
Sounds like sour grapes to me. I thought the Abraham vs Taylor fight was pretty entertaining with Jermain ahead after four and Abraham taking control from round five on. That KO was spectacular, but even if he hadn't scored it no way Jermain should have gotten the nod. As far as Froch vs Dirrell I thought it was a rather sloppy fight from both of them, and neither fighter really shied away from questionable tactics. I would have been fine with either fighter getting the nod, or the fight being scored a draw as it was relatively close and neither fighter really established themselves.
