Atleast with HBO the European guy would have to prove himself to be good (like Calzaghe) to be broadcast to US public. Thats garbage ... with this **** being done, it makes me question fighters like Sven Ottke, and Zsolt Erdei ... come on now with the bull****. Thats why when you hear about all-time greats from Europe they would've had to been rugged KO artists or guys who came up in an era with great journeymen and had a tough fight every night out.

The UK is full of **** and there aren't too many fighters that I would consider great coming out of that country and the same goes for Germany ... s

He has a history of narrowmindedness. Don't mind that.

The original poster had it right, many people thought that since Froch was moving forward, he was somehow applying "effective pressure", which simply is not the case.

thats just about the dumbest conclusion anyone has ever come to.

People who think Froch won are the same people who think stealing is ok

    LMFAO

Froch fans who cry about the holding, what do they think of Vitali Klitschko holding Arreola every time they got close? we already know how you all feel about Hattons style.... Theres only one Ricky Hatton.....
Suddenly holding is a bad thing now eh? but seriously how do you think of V Klitschko.?

Though I get where you're coming from, I feel this would not be the right approach.

Froch was regularly fouling Dirrell. Such is the nature of hometown venues.

That would defeat the purpose of his team (himself and two of the judges). He did his part, he stole a point outright from Dirrell. Then he left it in the hands of the judges to steal the rest. Dirrell got shafted that night.

    I completely agree.
Dirrell is fighting like this is the amateurs.
Maybe Gennady Golovkin can enter and get him out of this too.

This is the pros, folks.... if you want to run, dance and clinch be a professional Felix Savon.

the sad part is Froch fans are defending this garbage

they dont care about the integrity of the sport, aslong as their fighter doesnt lose

Yeah it was a boring fight and Andre is most to blame, but come on Froch only landed like 5 or 6 effective punches in the first half of that fight. Dirrell won easily.
