I really don't think it was that bad of a decision. It is contrversial, but I have seen so much worse. Next time, put it on him instead of all the running and defensive showboating. He misses, you make him pay. Did anyone tell Dirrell that he was in another country and he needed to fight with all he has? I have never seen him fight except for this fight so is this how he usually fights? He a very good talent, but fought like that with a slow fighter. What if Froch actually had speed to keep up with him?

By the way, I did not vote due to thinking a "draw" should have also been placed. A rematch should definitely be made someday. Dirrell will be champion someday soon.

No I read the post. Now what is the meaning of ""I don't care if Dirrell landed one punch or a thousand"?

You complain about Dirrell running, but to me it looks like you're the one backpedalling now.

The meaning of ''I don't care if Dirrell landed one punch or a thousand'' is...

''I don't care if Dirrell landed one punch or a thousand''

I said what I meant to say.

The POINT, my friend, is that you and I are not the judges SO IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT WE THINK. What matters is what the judges think.

So you're saying that there are no bad decisions in boxing because the judges are always correct, by definition? Thanks for cleaning up decades of corruption with a convenient re-defining of the terms!

Great news, boxing is scandal free folks!

He's not dodging, he's running. All evasion is running. In boxing as in life. Obviously.

So the core of your rationale is that Froch was because...the judges said so! :patsch This is seriously the arguement you are left clinging to at the end? You are a goddamn muppet.

Check out this link and try to learn something:

    [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argument_from_authority[/ame]

Fans perspective on the fight matters. If you thought fan opinions didn't matter then you wouldn't have stepped into this thread let alone this forum. So obviously you are just striking a false pose because everything else you've said has been knocked down and you have no other leg to stand on.

I'm not saying that judges are always correct......I'm saying it's their opinion that always counts. Geddit?

    Yawn.

I did not say that fan's opinions don't matter. I'm saying in the context of judging the outcome of the fight, ultimately what we think counts for squat. Dirrell's team needed to be smarter with their strategy.....it could be that Dirrell simply can't change the way he boxes, in which case he'll be in for more let-downs as his career progresses....I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

You were trying to tell us all about how Dirrell lost the fight but when it all fell apart you were reduced to being obtuse and saying stuff like this which is beside the point of this discussion. Geddit?
