I expected much more from Froch... he was to slow and easy to frustrate, just thought he would be better as he talked very confident and was in his hometown...
I voted Dirrell "good" He spoilt a little other then that he boxed perfectly and rendered Froch's style completely ineffective. Froch was a disappointment! He couldn't adapt, relied soley on lungeing forward and trying to land that one big shot, most of his punches landed on the back of Dirrell's head or on a break from a clinch.
Direll (good) Froch (poor) I was expecting Froch to win convingly against the inexperienced Dirrell. However on the night it became ever more apparant of Froch's poor technical ability. There are only two attributes that he can be proud of (chin and power), but unfortunately for him they couldn't help him on the night. He couldn't even land a punch to make Dirrell respect his power, and even his chin failed to keep his legs sterdy when Dirrell connected in the latter rounds.
Dirrell did his usual thing (run, hold, fall over his own feet) while Froch dissapointed greatly by not knocking his ass out for his glaring ineffeciencies. I think I accidentally voted for Froch's performance as average though, when in reality it was a big dissapointment. Any sound pressure fighter or puncher should've taken Dirrell out. I guess we'll have to wait for Abraham.
BADINTENTIONS2, Decebal, Mr. HU, Uncle Rico, £4£ ...Dirrell good? What the hell is wrong with you people? Neither put on anything close to a world-class performance. Dirrell didn't "impress" just because he managed to not get KTFO as expected. And snapping Froch's head back isn't exactly a triumph in and of itself.
He was good in the ways you described, but don't think he executed his gameplan good enough. He was relying too much on his speed and should have tested himself more thourough
Don't get me wrong, the fight wasn't exactly Barrera vs Morales. But still for a young guy who took a huge step up in class, and for a guy who nearly everyone dismissed immediately....I thought he done pretty well in dictating the fight, making Froch miss all night (ok not very hard to do), and rocking a granite chinned opponent near the end. The fact that almost everyone (bar the judges) thought he won, that itself is proof of his pretty good performance.
i expected froch to get out boxed but he ending up out hustling dirrell. dirrell didn't press the action enough. so good for froch, average for dirrell as it was close against a proven champion.
I would say, Dirrell 6 and Crotch 3, to be fair, they both look not so ''super''. But big mouth Crotch look like TOTAL CRAP...as usual I must say.
