    Malignaggi-Diaz

It's pretty sad that we don't have to go back that far to see boxing treating its athletes atrociously.

Watching it in the Arena, I can't honestly claim to see it as being a robbery of any sort, Walk with me.

    I'll rewatch it tomorrow, however.

Of course you didn't think it was a robbery, it's had to judge a fight when the 15K fans in the arena are all rooting for one guy.

I dont think that Diaz vs Malinaggi was a robbery. Malinaggi was giving rounds away because he was show boating. he was getting hit clean several times and an argument could be made that Diaz was making the fight. No comparison.

malignaggi vs diaz had way more swing rounds imo.... this is far worse

watching a fight in an arena vs a tv is a a very big transition... when i watched cotto vs clottey at msg i had cotto up by like 3 rounds.. when i watched it at home on youtube i had clottey up by like 2 rounds....

it changes when you can see things clearer

wasnt a big time robbery even though the actual winner didnt win. but any decision like this is big considering the nature of the sport. but my problem is i cant come up with the scores they had by any calculations. 115-112 just doesnt work out for me that 7-5 with no point deduction. the only card where it was applied was the one that dirrel won on.

When I watched Cotto vs Clottey on TV, I still felt the right man won. I think all that proves is that people, irrespective of whether they are in the Arena or at home, all see fights differently, and score fights differently.

any championship level fight. it wasn't that huge of a robbery considering Dirrel was fighting in the champion's back yard...to take the belt you must usually do so very convincingly; I think dirrel won a close decision but caused distractions with the dirty wrestling and constant wining to the ref. this made the fight dirtier than it should have been which I imagine did not help bring clarity when scoring the close rounds. I wouldn't call it a robbery but a wrong decision.... but if he is to learn anything from this, its to concentrate on fighting more and less complaining to the ref. if he would have done what he did in the last two rounds more often, he could have won a clear cut decision.

    LOL!!!

Good to see you thought Casamayor-Santa Cruz was less of a robbery.

But of course, your anti-American sentiment is loud and clear. Go to sleep now homey.

It wasn't a robbery, there were tons of close rounds. Diaz-Paulie wasn't a robbery it was a close fight. Two scorecards were unrealistic, but it wasn't a robbery.
