Groves has never fought anyone near the skill level of Froch. And Froch isn't even that skillful, but has vastly more experience at this level.

Froch will control the fight with his long jab again and ill stop Groves late on. A guy that only a few fights ago went life and death with Kenny Anderson and James DeGale will not beat Froch at this point.

Groves to me, is bang average in every department. And I don't trust his whiskers :good

I can't stand James DeGale and was pleased when Groves beat him, but the fact of the matter is, he went life and death with him. Barring an over-the-over-hill Glen Johnson, Groves has fought NOBODY of note.

Please highlight the vast array of names within the below link that stands Groves in good stead against Froch?

Maybe we'll pop back into this thread after the fight tough guy :good

I really like Groves...hes technically gifted and has heart. I could imagine Groves having done really well against Froch in their sparring sessions, and that would probably have given Groves the confidence to beat Froch that he seems to have. But without the headgear it will be a whole different story. I don“t think its too soon for Groves. I doubt he will get much better in the future...he already sparred alot of the best in the division, and had a nice amateur career. Groves only problem is that his chin seems rather suspect....and im sure Froch will expose it and win a KO

Ballsy move by Groves. Should be a decent fight, and I'm sure the Brittards are creaming themselves over it.

Froch jab is weak ass, at best it's a range finder.

I pick groves for this one.

We have seen many a time in almost all of froch fights that he is a come forward pressure fighter. He does cut the ring down well and when in range using those long leavers lets multiple punches go. However I really do believe that groves can negate all of that by sticking to what he knows best and thats using great footwork and speed all of the back foot.
When froch fought ward he really struggled with the slikcness and movement of ward and only really got into the fight in the latter rounds when ward tired and he could get closer to him. Now I am not saying groves is on wards level or even anywhere near it, but groves is the type of fighter that froch will have nightmares about.

All said and done, great match up, respect to froch for not vacating and also to groves for putting his 0 on the line.

best of all great pay day for both.

    Groves by narrow points

Froch will, slowly but surely, break Groves down. Groves is too easy to hit, and his defense involves so much excessive movement that he'll run out of gas.
