I thought Froch conducted himself much better and actually shaded the mental battle. Groves looked a little rattled and annoyed he didn't get to Froch....Thoughts?
I agree, I still think Groves will have success in this fight, but the outcome will be the same...a late Froch stoppage. Groves caught him clean and Frochbwas square on and still got up. I dont see Groves knocking him out clean and he dosnt throw punches in bunches
Froch tried to keep calm. Deep down you could tell he is still angry. Hiding your true feelings can be dangerous. George is just George.
It was an act. At one point Froch covered his face because George pointed out he was biting his tongue when he asked him to keep it together. You could actually here Froch's heavy breathing every time George said a fact. Carl also said something to George when he thought he was off camera, but he was caught on another camera angle, so that clearly showed he was acting for the cameras..
I must admit seeing carl bitting his lip and covering his face is a basic protection sign displayed by any human who isnt secure or comfortable. However I do think Groves was expecting to get to him more often than he did. I think Groves will be dissatisfied and Froch relieved but happy and more confident in his showing. all said, come fight night does it all matter? Everyone always reverts to type and Froch in the trenches. ...if he can drag George there wins.....Groves has ro finish this clean and early
Froch was pathetic talking about Groves spitting on him, Froch is a warrior one of my favourite boxers of recent times but he just came across so pathetic tonight.
Groves runs rings around him mentally, Froch has had to hire a psychologist for a start... tells you all you need to know. Him trying to act calm and not bothered now + shaking hands yet 4 weeks ago he was the opposite... he can't become a new man in 4 weeks.
That yeah during the hand shake was cool as **** froch split decision give groves something to whine about afterwards
