You've bought in. Like I say, the PR machine's done a good job.

Froch's a better FIGHTER, and a better MAN. In my opinion. No CF homo.

Ah well, opinions and all that. We'll see on the night. Let's hope it's fun. :good

    Wow.

Massive, massive prediction. Respect to you.

Not only will the man in the ill fitting suit be the first to stop Froch, but he even knocks him out! :D

The only thing Carl has going for him is the ability to take a punch on his ****ing huge nose a bit better than George.

People talk about stamina, rewatch the Ward fight. Andre had him gassing hard.

There is NOTHING he does better than George other than taking a punch. You have to be an idiot to think Carl will improve. He's 36 and isn't capable of fighting in a different manner.

Hand speed , boxing skills, Power , footwork , youth , its all stacked against Froch who's main attributes are his chin and stamina , i just cant see Groves losing this fight

    Fair enough mate. :good

I think you're making a big mistake though. Froch knocked your man out before (well he was just about to as we all know if we're honest) and will again. :yep

Ward was the more tired of the two at the end of that fight.

Anyway, taking a punch better than George is a fairly big advantage in this case. In fact I'd say it's the deciding factor in this fight. IF Froch's punch resistance is still there, then he will win. Groves does start to unravel when he gets tagged, and at several points in the first fight Foster let him off the hook by stepping in when he was about to take a few shots.

As much as his conditioning may be better for this fight, it will be the acid test once he gets tagged a few times - and people seem to be basing opinions on the fact that somehow Froch won't land ANYTHING in this fight - if he can hold the shots or starts to unravel.

And sure, people can say 'being able to take a punch and keep coming' isn't a good long term strategy, or isn't 'boxing' or 'technically good' or whatever - but it can win you fights you have no right to win on paper, and that's why Froch is so fan friendly. Groves will have to literally put Froch to sleep in order to keep him on the floor, or be able to sustain a ferocious attack without gassing. I don't believe he can do either, and will lose for the same reasons as before.

With the longer training camp, first hand experience on fighting froch and new training methods employed I'm anticipating to see a much improved Groves. How much better is open for speculation, but it could have a massive impact on the fight. Paddy has talked about being more disciplined and neater, there are small adjustments that Groves can make to shut out Froch's game almost completely, we'll have to wait and see if he makes them or not.

The reason he lost before is the referee. It's 50/50 whether Groves would have weathered the storm and gone on to win or not.

Froch has had a longer training camp, now has first hand experience of fighting Groves and not had his head messed with by some hat wearing fruit loop introducing 'new' training methods for no real reason.

Facts are these: Froch can still take a punch, Groves still can't, Froch can do 20 rounds, Groves can't do 10.

Froch will send the ginger to sleep.

It really isn't 50/500 whether the ginger would have weathered the the storm. It's not 100% but it's pretty close, he was gulping air, leaning on the ropes and swinging like a drunk chimp.

Unless he's got some courage from the Wizard of Oz then he's got next to chance of becoming World Champion.

It's almost as if George didn't put Froch down in the first round last time, and would have ended the Polish pricks career with 30 seconds of the round left.
