I cant see it selling out, even 70,000 that's huge and like someone else said cheap seats will be so far back you wont see anything, I'm assuming they will have big screens though.
If hatton lazcano can get 50k then 60k in a more accessible city for a British world title fight is going to be easy to sell. Just the fact it's at wembley will be enough for some people to buy a brief.
Hatton had a huge football following! not sure Froch / Groves have the same but hopefully it does sell out.
I think for my budget staying at home is the best option!! Can anyone with experience going to a stadium fight verify that the £30 tickets are a waste of time? People can say atmosphere all they want but I don't think sacrificing a good view of the fight is a worthwhile compromise personally....
personally wouldnt bother for 30 quid tickets pretty much as the guys on here are saying 200 minimum for good view is standard.
Yeah Box-Office with the fridge full of beers is the best bet :good I went to the Mike Tyson-Lou Savarese fight at Hampden park and it was difficult to see. You know yourself at some arena's the view can be **** even though the arena's compact and made for that type of thing and unless you pay good money for a decent seat then i cant see anybody getting a good view. The big screens will be on of course, but i would rather watch it in my own big screen in my living room with a f*cking cold beer in my hand with the fridge and toilet only meteres away. Stick yer Wembley up yer arse
Unless you are willing to part with a four figure sum, you are going to the fight not for the view but for the atmosphere. I have been to a few Stadium fights in the 80s and 90s, I hardly saw a thing, but I did have some of the best nights of my life.
Hmm the whole day itself (Ticket, hotel, food, drink and travel) will end up setting me back well over £100 even getting the cheapest ticket... And without willing to sound like too much of a tight a**, i'd rather just save that and put it towards going to sonisphere, which is far better value-wise, fun-wise and atmosphere-wise!!
Booked the hotel last night at wembley, glad i did, its sold out now and I got it at a cheap price. I say tickets will be a nightmare to get, fingers crossed.
Eddie said on his Ifl interview hat they're using Seetickets. Tbh, I've always much preferred them. The Ticketmaster site is shite.
