I not afraid to say it, but that was a British stoppage. He should have given the chance to continue.

 

There's gassing, and then there is doing what Maduma did, which was fall to pieces.

Having watched the replays, Maduma had gone quite a while without showing the ability to stand up straight under his own steam. The knock down punch was barely a tap and he was straight over.

Definitely looked too early first up though.

 

Maduma was 2 points up on all cards.

Not a robbery on the cards but it was closer than it should have been imo.

This reminds me of the time Burns got schooled but his opponent (forget his name) gassed/quit near the end.
