I'd go for Froch, Hearns was a bit chinny at his peak and was slightly damaged goods after the Hagler fight. Froch's constant pressure would be too much for Hearns while I don't think the Hitman has enough power at 168 to hurt Froch
Exactly what I thought it said. I'm not sure about the actual posed question, Hearns if it goes the distance which I probably think it would do but I wouldn't be surprised by Froch stopping him around the 8th or 9th.
hearns via ud. hearns had a style that could easily nulify an opponents offense and was very hard to beat, think he would surprise alot of people here
Hearns would execute Froch. That low guard plus that vicious right and left hook = the end for Carl. Even old Hearns is superior to Froch at his best.
The gulf in class is huge, Hearns would dismantle Froch, however you can't rule out the possibility of a late stoppage as Froch will come in strong in the late rounds and Tommy's stamina wasn't the best
Froch gets embarassed too many times but eventually size, strength, power, durability and tenacity will be telling. Naturally bigger man wins but not before knowing that p4p he doesn't have **** on his victim.
Why the hell would Carl Froch fight his promoter? IMO Eddie Hearn would wipe the floor with Carl Froch. UD12 - No blueprint. Eddie Hearn would prove to the world that he is the ultimate warrior. Not Kessler, not Froch, not Bute, or Audley Harrison. Eddie Hearn, numero uno and P4P#1.
Froch isn't this iron-chinned beast he's made out to be. Dropped and hurt by Taylor, stung by Pascal, hurt by Kessler... Hearns was a beast of a puncher, even at the higher weights and slower than he once was. It would be over by the eighth.
Froch gets picked off by the one-two with numbing regularity and has his rib cage caved in by left hooks to the body. Hearns late stoppage. Awful matchup for him.
:hi: Word :good Apropos of the topic at hand: :rofl:roflatsch Hearns' Chin fails him in brutal and spectacular fashion :deal
