Forgot about that, fair enough, but the argument still stands. Malignaggi being the opponent wasn't to do with him not being on Sky on May 15th last year.

Sounds to me that Fat Mick is the primary reason why Froch has problems with Brit TV.Surely Carl gets this -or is he as dense as Mick?

 

I'm sure I read around that time that Sky weren't that keen on Khan-Malignaggi so Golden Boy offered it to ITV for free as they couldn't find someone to show it.

 

To be fair to Khan he talk's just as much **** as other boxers do including Froch.

Khan did massive numbers on ITV for the Malignaggi fight. Much more than he would have if it was on Sky IMO.

 

Indeed the fat **** is ruining his fan base / earning potential.

 

Laz, ***an-khan was only on PPV as it was toed with a US card, can't rmember it now though, wouldn't have been PPV without th US part


I'm as big a froch fan you'll get on this forum but him against Johnson on PPV would bomb and the fight would cost sky too much to show free I think.
Still, not to show it is ****ing terrible, I wonder if they tried hard enough to match it with another card/fighter

On a side note, does anyone know how long Froch's Contract with Fat Mick stands?

It was a good move for exposure no doubt, but to the point of it, I'm not sure Malignaggi being the opponent was the primary reason for him not being on the network. I'll find out, hopefully.
