This seems like a pick em fight to me but i thought Froch/Abraham was going to be a pick em fight to. Froch did beat Pascal who beat Chad Dawson who beat Glen Johnson twice but that dosen't neccesarily mean anything. Anyways who are you picking?
exactly, the whole fighter A beat fighter B and fighter B beat fighter C comes back to bite folks too often. Still though, the edge should go to Froch in this one. Froch ain't no Allan Green, will be very tough for Johnson.
Abraham isn't Johnson. He'll actually make his way inside and make things rough for him. Froch is going to have is hands full in this fight.
I cannot wait Froch vs Johnson two of my favorite fighters in my home town more than likely. I think Froch will win this one and progress to the final. I'm looking to see froch box, or come out aggressive for the first few rounds then it come properly alive in the later rounds, a clear yet competitive and entertaining ud. Maybe even a late stoppage
This fight will be much more competitive, but I'd edge Froch. Would not shock me at all if Johnson took it though. One thing I know for sure though, Froch was quoted as saying "Johnson won't get past my jab"....Johnson's definitely getting past that jab.
I think Froch will have his hands full against Johnson, who unlike AA will actually press the fight. Johnson is a very difficult fighter to look good against and as well as Froch boxed last weekend he will have to box even better against Johnson. I was confident Froch would beat AA but am not so confident of his chances against Johnson. This is a pick em fight for me, how will Froch cope with the pressure Johnson will undoubtedly apply and will he be able to establish his jab and not get countered by Johnson's right hand when he throws it?
The only thing that I wonder about is if fighting at 168 lbs will make Johnson's normally excellent bread better relative to what it was or worse? That and is Carl Froch better then Tavoris Cloud. Cause this is essentially the same fight but at a lower weight. A relatively skilled Power puncher that can't avoid a brawl vs a tough come forward pressure fighter. Froch IMO is a little bit better then Cloud from the outside but Froch has never shown an ability to fight inside where as Cloud was able to manage once Johnson came inside. If Froch can fight a David Haye vs Fragomenii type fight this will be his only chance...question: Can Froch fight moving backwards and circling away against Johnson? I think I favour Froch to do this but its going to be a way better fight then the AA fight. Look for Froch to be in deep **** come the 8-10th rounds....if he can rally and catch a second win...he wins if not he loses. IMO he won't get knocked out.
