Froch Vs Kahn

Froch has a much better resume, aside from Pacquiao there is nobody in the world who can match his current run of top opponents. But Khan has plenty of time to build a good resume of his own.

 

What about Mayweather, Andre Ward or even Martinez.

Froch's resume is better atm. But he also has 3 more fights. That can make a big difference because Khan has stepped up to the world stage now. His next 3 fights aren't going to be against bums. You take back Froch to when he had 24 fights and that would leave him without the Dirrell and Taylor wins on his resume.

Froch has had too many good competitive fights compared to Khan.

If Khan fought Maidana, Bradley, then fought another top LWW then perhaps they wouldbe on par

 

Froch resume is better than most in boxing, nevermind Khan - In Khans defence he is still young and beginning to up his level of opposition on a consistent basis

 

Khan is only 23, so it's not fair comparison considering the stages they are at in their careers. After all, Froch didn't mix it up with the best in the world till he was in his 30's.

 

Froch turned pro at 25, had his first world title fight 4 fights ago. So they are in fact at quite a similar stage

Nowhere near, after 5 years as a pro, the biggest name Carl had fought was a Robin Reid so shot, he made the Barrera Khan fought seem like the version from the Hamed fight.

 

Could be argued that this argument shows how much power Sky's marketing team have & how much of a bollock it can be if you're not a Sky fighter

 

No they are not. Froch is cramming in the big fights before he ends his career whilst Khan has has his whole career in front of him.

 

Froch's resume is better, but Khan is more talented.

 

If Khan fights and beats Maidana and Bradley next two fights his resume will be better than Frochs. I honestly think Abraham wil beat Froch so his career is not gonna go much further.

And they are not at a similar stage of their careers, they may be fighting at the same level of competition but that doesn't make them at the same stage. Froch isn't going to box for long, Khan has plenty of time and has not reached his peak on the other hand I would say Froch is at his peak he isn't going to get any better.

Its kinda pointless comparing the two at the moment only at the end of their careers we will establish who had the better resume and i have no doubt it will be Khan but I still think people will argue that Froch still had a better resume just coz of the general hate around Khan.

 

Froch is by far the better fighter of the two. Khan is the better boxer.
