I think it should happen, whether or not it will is another matter. Different promoters. Fury is on the brink of a world title fight, at this moment in time he is closer than David Haye is to a title shot.

Would you risk that all now and fight Haye for big money, but with no belt on the line?

Its a big fight without a belt, its even bigger with it!

Still think David Haye decapitates him inside 3 or 4 rounds, it may only take the 1st!

No way is Fury taking those punches he has been knocked down with by others, from Haye. Haye stopped Chisora who everyone thought had an iron chin and grade A punch resistance. Fury has been taken down and hurt by small heavyweights, Cunningham was a small cruiser for crying out loud! Fury has proved he can take a shot, but Fury has also proved he is wide open for taking them nearly all the time.

Its such a risky fight at this moment in time for Fury for a number of reasons, thats perhaps why they'll want to get it on if/when Fury gets a belt. If Haye gets a belt before him, no way is Haye getting that fight on, he wants the Klits not the Gyps.

    Froch-Ward, Froch-Groves (if GG picks up a belt), Haye-Fury, Haye-Vitali & Khan-Mayweather & Khan-Brook all do good business IMO.

Unfortunately I doubt it will do numbers anywhere near Haye vs Chisora, keep in mind that Haye was already a ppv attraction and the press conference scrap was all over the news and generated loads of interest in the fight.

But that fight was not being advertised constantly by sky as it was not on their channel. If had been it done over 500k

You are joking? Is this the level to which PPV worthy has dropped ? You don't need PPV to make these fights, just win a moderate purse bid

Why would Golovkin Barker be any more PPV worthy than Golovkin fightng Macklin in a few weeks?

    Either way neither are PPV

Pulev is great guy who has a lovely lady but as a PPV attraction he's not exactly all action. Brook vs. Khan is PPV worthy as Khan is poor defensively and they both hate each other.

As for the numbers I'd say around 400k.

  9. I understand its unpopular but my point is to bring elite level fighters over you may need ppv

Macklin golovkin is in America so isn't in the equation

I understand barker golovkin isn't going to do big numbers but paired with haye pulev you have something for casuals and hardcore fans

We need the top fighters to come to Britain again

I don't know what to make of all this really. There's Froch and Sky talking up a Ward rematch, as if the first wasn't one-sided to the point of tedium, and apparently pay per view is needed to attract the likes of Kubrat Pulev. Has the world gone mad?
