I say Kessler's the obvious pick but I've seen him rattled, I know Froch can punch and Kessler's got a lot of miles on him at this point. I would think Kessler would school Froch but 43 fights, eleven pro years, it's significant enough. I know Froch is technically older than Kessler but he's only been in 25 pro fights in a seven year pro career. I say he's older but fresher than Kessler. He's got a chance.
I am basing everything on the fact Kessler was badly winded by feather fisted Calzaghe and therefore Froch will do more damage if he targets the same area. Kessler struggles with unorthodox styles and does not know how to fight effectively on the back foot.
I am a massive fan of Froch, but i voted for Kessler, i just think he has better skills and equal heart, i dont think he'll knock Froch out but he'll win by UD. It could depend on the previous fights though, I think ward will take more out of Kessler than Direll will froch
This fight will be brutal war and will almost cetrainly take a lot out of both fighters. I favour Froch (just) on the basis that Kessler isn't quite as good as many make him out to be. I hope to go to Copenhagen for this fight:happy
Can't see how people think Froch would get stopped, so far he's displayed a granite chin don't think I've really seen him in trouble yet.
i like both fighters. but obviously favour froch (he's the man). i don't think kessler would ko froch so it would either be a kessler decision or froch ko.
OK, but Froch was down one time, Kessler has never been on the mat, and can't see Froch winning on pts, so if Froch can't ko him, and can't win a decision, the only choice is Kessler, by pts or late ko/tko.
I see it as a little more complex. Froch can hit, and he seems capable of walking through a fair share of punishment. Kessler's ability to take Froch's damage is... A fair question. That's if Froch didn't eat too many right hands at this point in the walkthrough anyhow..
