A fight always seems closer 2nd time around, you are so caught up in the thing initially and notice things that you didn't on first viewing...watch it again and you will have the draw :yep The last two rounds were insane :deal
I had rounds 1, 3, 5, 10, 11 to Froch with round 12 too close to call. There were also a couple of tight rounds between 5 and 10. That was me with the blinkers on and no commentary...I can guarantee that i'll have the draw on 2nd watching as I tend to be harsh to home fighters on first viewing. How anyone scored it worse than 115-113 to Kessler I don't know...117-111 with a 10-8 round in there is a ****ing war crime
wat round was the 10-8. i really think some of these judges need to be dragged in front of the board to explain there scoring
I don't know, my mate emailed me late last night, I think he was watching US coverage (didn't know they had it)...insane isn't it.
thats ****ing crazy mateatsch no fighter has won away yet. semi and finals must all be in neutral locations IMO
I watched it in Danish(which I dont understand) and had it even 114-114 or Kessler winning by a round. Very hard to score though. So the result was probably just about right. I think the italian ref had the most accurate card. No way froch won, at best a draw for him so its understandable that kessler got the decision.. I dont however see it as a wide UD as some people had it. I had froch winning rd 1,3,5,10,11,12 but a lot of them were close!
spot on mate, pretty much the same as me...And I have no reason to be biased towards froch, im not particularly a fan of either fighter. Great fight though
i had it (in danish/ or polish?) Froch 1,4,5,10,12 Kessler 2,3,6,7 - but i had 8,9, and 11 equal. this is because i did not see more than 1min of these rounds, froch looked poor in them but couldnt pick on such small portions of the rounds) so i had froch by one, if those 3 had gone to Kessler then he would have had it by 2rounds, no complaints from me
