Massive froch fan but after last night kovalev looks scary, prob stops froch late

 

hate to say it but froch would be destroyed his legs are nearly gone and Kovalev has a great style for him anyways, with him being so stiff up top. Great chin but could only take so much off someone like Kovalev. A few years ago might have been interesting but I'd be shocked if he pulled it off against Koavev at any stage

 

I don't think Froch has a chance he walks around at supermiddle and he does not have the power or athleticism to compete.

 

Froch has a great chin but it wouldn't save him here unfortunately. Kovalev stoppage.

Great superfight. Would be massive in England. Froch gets KO'd, but is still a credible opponent nonetheless... Certainly more credible than Bika. Wouldn't mind seeing it tbh, with Stevenson running with his tail between his legs, Beterbiev still climbing up the ranks etc. Kovalev doesn't exactly have many top contenders to choose from.

 

Kovalev moves better than Froch and hits harder. He throws a variety of shots and Froch doesn't keep his hands up. Bad match stylistically for Froch.

I'm fairly confident currently Kovalev beats anyone under LHW except Ward. I think both Dirrells could box with him for a while. Bika would give him a rough outing and survive but lose wide. Beterbiev simply isn't ready and admitted it already.

 

Froch could have Rachel flashing Kovalev from ringside and it still wouldn't save him from being brutalised

 

Right now I think Kovalev would beat him but I think prime Froch has a good chance. They're both not the quickest, similar height and reach, both have power, Kovalev is a bit naturally bigger and technically better but Froch is deceptively awkward and effective. Froch also has a great chin, heart and stamina. Would be a great fight.

Groves hurt Froch bad. I can only imagine what a bigger, stronger, more skilled KOvalev can do. Froch gives it his all, but is stopped in the middle rounds. Froch is fine at 168 lbs.
