Oosthuizen is by no means an easier fight then Pavlik for Froch. He is a steadily improving smw with a some good wins on his resume. He is unbeaten, fast and very busy for a guy his size. Would expect Froch to overpower him in a tough fight though. There is no cherry picking or ducking going on here, he is a credible opponent.
And when JR KOs Martinez in style, and Bute takes back his IBF belt in a close decision.....then we'll see how Froch fares against another iron chinned banger like JR.:think Damned.....the future of the SMW division is looking real nice after Martinez is KOd in Sept.
Listen Noob. If you're going to come on here spouting such drivel, get yourself on a Klit huggers thread. You'd be well suited in there.
You gotta be crazy to think Pavlik would stand a chance against Froch, his style isn't even one which holds advantages against Froch's and no way is he beating him without a tactical advantage. I don't know much about Oosthuizen, but I would rather see Froch fight him, I think it would be **** if he fought Pavlik, it would be like cashing out.
Resume's don't fight, fighters do, but Carl's resume' shits all over Kelly's right now. On the other hand, Ring Magazine and all the Orgs have guys ranked higher than KP who wouldn't last 7 rounds with him. Carl grabbed that IBF title in a way that was damned impressive. He's on top now. Second only to Ward. Kelly is on his way back after self destructing. As for where he stands at the moment, I watched Pavlik/Rosinski three times, and most people need to give Will a lot more credit than they do. He's a helluva fighter, but Pavlik walked all over him. Kelly Pavlik is a dangerous fight for anyone in the division, but Carl doesn't need him. Considering what Carl has accomplished since the Taylor fight he's entitled to a soft touch, and Pavlik is not a soft touch. That fight would put Carl's rematches with Bute and Kessler at risk, and that is a risk he does not need to take. As a Pavlik fan I would love to see Froch back up all the **** he has talked about Pavlik since before the S-6 started, but that fight is NOT smart business, and at the end of the day, boxing is still a business.
