Before some of you guys starting talking **** bout ducking an all that Tommy gun didnt turn it down his promoter Lou dibella did. not because they were'nt willing to travel or were'nt been paid enough but because Mr monopoly eddie hearn wanted a piece of Tommy's contract

Don't they have to agree to fight bute next if they beat Froch so the winner HAS to fight bute so they need the next fight option for whoever Foch fights next

Yeah they do but does'nt mean hearn has to have a piece of tommy's contract even if he losses. if tommy was to beat froch its bad enough that he legally has to fight bute next and cant choose another opponent but to expect him to give up a percentage of the bute fight and or future fights is a bit ridiculous.

i think its disgraceful when promoters do that " you only get a shot if you sign with me trick"

Think this could have been an interesting one.Saw him on an undercard on TV and he looked a handy young kid with plenty of heart and ability. He just beat Rowland Bryant who stopped Librado Andrade so it wouldnt have been a mismatch.
Not saying hed have beaten Froch but might have been harder than Pavlik at this stage of Kellys career.Cant see him travelling to GB,either.Carl isnt the kind of opponent to rebuild on,unless hes supremely confident.
