Great fight. Clearly nerves got the better of them as they really went for it and neither of them fought in the controlled way they usually do.
they both went toe 2 toe and landed the hardest shots I seen them land ever and both still standing after watching this again it really brought home how hard kovalev hits
I think Froch says he doesn't remember much of the fight, and I'm not surprised. It was a Rocky style war. Great fight.
Ye Froch is rarely a one punch KO artist (with the exception of some of his early fights and Groves), but its generally recognised he's heavy handed. Iron chinned warriors both. Although I'd casually followed his career as he rose up through the domestic ranks here in the UK this was the fight that made me an all out fan. Throw in that first defence against Taylor as well and I knew he'd be one of my favourite ever fighters.
Is this a thread admiring Froch and Pascal, or simply a covert Kovalev ball licking thread ? Froch and Pascal hit each other with everything, but both have landed better single shots during their careers. The punches that took out Groves and Magee would have taken most out.
Froch defeated the undefeated pascal (in a great fight) kovalev got the KO on pascal who had already been cobra'd
Boxing_Master is probably onto something again but yeah, Froch vs Pascal was a tremendous 12 rounds of battle.
