If AA looks bad against Lorenzo, this would be a great time for Kelly to move up, and poach a title off a guy who is custom made to make him look good.

Froch v Pavlik would be rgeat.

It would be a sensational slugging match.

Taylor was a great step up for Froch because Taylor is a big name, and because we know Taylor can be stopped.

Props to Froch - he didn't stop a drained Taylor like Pav did, though Pav showed the way.

Pav needs to be the bigger man. I feel he could land some bombs on Froch, but that Froch would also find Pavlik easy to hit. Pav wouldn't beat a bigger, stronger man.

Kessler has gone under the radar. Where was the March 14 US debut? Froch has stolen the headlines, like it or not. Pavlik is still a champion, and is strugglign to find worthy opponents (Duddy just beaten).

well then Pavlik looked liek absolute **** vs Taylor 1, and only won because Taylor ran on empty as early as the 6th.

It's natural for so called experts who have seen a guy fight probably once, to make wild predictions. Ppl were saying that Calzaghe would lose to Trinidad, before last year.

Pavlik isn't 6'3" you ******. And the size difference b/n froch and taylor was very noticeable. Not so with pavlik and taylor. Froch is as tall and rangy as kelly with more strength and power. Froch didn't have to hit
jermain w/ as many shots as kelly did to get him out of there. Carl is too
strong and tough, and hits to hard for kelly.

    Carl KO 9

What the ****? Pavlik was totally controlling the fight, apart from the second round when he got floored. Taylor was being backed up constantly, and most people ringside had Pavlik ahead (though, admittedly, the judges didn't). Taylor was perfectly fresh; he just got nailed with two right hands and it was game over. It was a KO by power rather than a KO by tiredness.

This is the fight I'd love to see made. Even more that Froch-Kessler. It'd obviously be a war. I've not seen a whole lot of Pavlik outside of the Hopkins and (highlighted) Taylor fights. From what I've seen they seem evenly matched, maybe Froch would have a slight advantage with him being a natural SMW (he claims he walks round at fight weight).

Pavlik/Froch is a real 50-50 one for me. On one hand I think Froch is a fighter that Pavlik can't consistently back up (so that could be quite awkward for Kelly) but I also feel that Pavliks jab and overall better technique would win him the day. I'll have to give this one a bit more thought.

Froch actually can fight smart, for some reason he doesn't choose to very often. He showed this occasionally against Pascal and Taylor but he fights overly aggressive at times leaving himself open.

I actually think this fight would go down to the scorecards.

Pavlik is 6'2 and a half, which is slightly taller than Froch (not that it makes much difference). If you honestly think Pavlik can't handle Froch's power you need to go back and watch Pavlik vs. Taylor, where Pavlik took about 20 rockets from Taylor before going down, unlike the one right hand which took Froch off his feet.

I really get pissed off with fans who just swallow the ****ing propaganda pumped out by Steve Bunce and the British press. If you really think Froch could KO Pavlik faster than he did Taylor, you must be absolutely ****ing delusional.

Well, I'd prefer Pavlik to beat a watered-down AA than to not face AA at all. There's no need to give ANY advantages away at this stage; he can clean up at MW and then in a year's time step up and fight Crotch. Thing is, Froch will have been exposed by Kessler by then, so there won't be much left to do..
