I'd take Pavlik and Kessler over Froch. There are styles where off balance and open works (JC, RJJ) and ones where it doesn't, and I don't think Froch's particular brand of it would work against Pavlik and certainly not Kessler. I love to see any of these fights however, so I hope they happen.
#1; Oliver Underfoot; 17 pound abasinian tom cat, past his prime, but still in good shape and dangerous due to size, strength, and big fight experience. #2; Lucy Ann Loudmouth; cocker spaniel, thinks she's 10 feet tall and bullet proof, but loses 2 out of 3 to the tom cat. #3; Martin Maxwell; springer spaniel pup, quite stupid, he's all ears and legs, hopelessly clumsy, but hey, he's just a green prospect. #4 Ziva Zoom-Zoom; very small mixed breed cat, about 4 pounds. Quick as lightning, throws awesome combinations, but she doesn't have the size or strength to make the others respect her.
Another pickem fight I personally would lean toward the Ghost but Carl is a difficult fighter with one heck of a chin ..If Kelly can walk The Cobra down he will have no problems finding his target ! I would love to see this fight ..HBO ,Arum whom ever need to start negotiations !
Not gonna happen. People in Kelly's camp say no more division jumping and we know Froch ain't coming to 160. No indication Kelly moves up this year.
i read that lyell vs. pavlik at the ysu stadium. mora fight is not a deal yet. Lyell just beat the RING #2 160lbs. Wants a shot, in a all youngstown championship brawl. 2 fighters, 1 trainer, and the middlewieght championship of the world. Lets get it on.
Awesome!! I especially can dig Ziva Zoom-Zoom!:good Mines are: Beagle/heinz 57: Molly....seems to be the top of the chain. Beagle/heinz 57: Katie....but I call her Tater. hill billy jams. Cat: Sketchy.....She hunts down birds pretty good and leaves them by the door on our porch like a prize or some****. She has an obsession with squirrels around here, but no luck. Rabbit: Sharpie, she just chills in a cage out back.
F****news Lyell eyes big fights! Even mentions an offer from Abrahamatsch
Well, he will be on a local show tomorrow, maybe this will come out. I have bumped a thread I started about Pavlik/Mora not being signed a couple times. If this is in the works, the Pavlik people are playing it close to the vest. Sturm's promotion company has offered Lyell a 3 fight deal and I though maybe a title shot might be included with that. I've seen little of Sturm of Lyell fight, but both seem to rely on quickness more than power. To me it sounds like Lyell's manager wants to cash in/out pretty quick after the Duddy fight as if he hasn't much faith in Lyell.
If this is true I will dump arthur as a fan and if Kelly fights "lyel" after mora, another boxer off my favorites list. I seriously doubt either will fight this lyell guy. Wasn't he the guy who lost a decision to that up and comer in Vanes?
