Froch vs Pavlik

Yeah it would be a war. But with the Super 6... I doubt we'll ever see it. At least not in thier primes. For the record though... I think I would pick Froch to stop Pav.

 

It will be Bute vs Pavlik...

 

Only if Pav beats Williams. If he cant beat Paul, I cant imagine his ppl letting him fight Bute.

i would love to see this fight. it would show people once and for all how good pav's 1-2 is b/c it would land everytime b/c of the way froch fights....and it would show people once and for all how strong froch's will and chin are b/c he'll get hit at will.

someone will break. i just can't see someone beating pav by walking through a everything he can throw. you beat him the way hopkins did...and hopkins didnt fight w/ his chin hangin over his lead foot w/ his hands around his waist standing in front of pav. but then again, no one has given froch a reason to change...he keeps winning.

lots of action. would be a war. i would love to see it. if taylor can knock down froch then so can pav and pav finishes a helluva lot better than taylor does. froch doesnt make it out of that round against pav. but then again, froch probably would have handled pav a little different than taylor when taylor had pav hurt.

I would like this fight. Both have the same range and both are very tough with alot of pop. Froch to me has the better chin and one punch power, but kelly is a bit faster and works more. Froch is a natural but big and powerful supermiddle, while kelly somehow makes middle comfy, but is still
big at the weight. This fight would probably go the 12, errr. no, i think it would honestly. I'd go with pavlik by close decision on this one. Maybe.

 

pavlik has fought many many times over 160...knocked damn near everyone out and lost once.

that comment is based on him jumping two weight classes, biting off more than he can chew when he wasnt 100% and fighting an atg and losing very badly.

Right. But styles do make fights, and kelly doesn't use a bike like JT.
He'd stand and fight froch much like he fought miranda, except froch's chin is better than edison's and i beleive is power might be too. Tough one, but like I said before BOO i'd lean to KP by UD.

 

I wouldn't say I completely disagree with this prediction but I think you're way off base...Froch and Bernard have very similar styles in terms of movement and range. Kelly's one-two is only affective for someone that is there to be hit with it, which Froch wouldn't be. I think this would be an interesting fight but to be frank I think Froch walks him on to shots all night and puts him away with in 7. Kelly might have a few moments but I honestly don't have any problems saying that this fight wouldn't be close.
