    I beg to differ.

He was saying that a lot of fights should have been called differently rom the way they were. That may be true but you have to ask why it keeps happening.

I think that Taylors athleticism and workrate got him the decisions against Hopkins and will work for him against Froch as well. If some rounds are difficult to score I think Taylor will be given the benefit of the doubt more oten than Froch, both as the higher profile and busier fighter. I'd be surprised if Froch takes a lot of fans out there and the judges are unlikely to be swayed towards Froch by crowd reactions either.

It's unknown how either fighter will stand up to solid punches by the other, but I don't rate Froch's power quite as highly after the Pascal fight as I did before it. There is no doubt he can bang but before that fight I thought it was unlikely anyone could take as many clean shots from him for 12 rounds and stay upright.

Froch has a good chin but Taylor can punch. I think Froch is too open defensively and I'd expect Taylor to land some power shots throughout the fight. Even if Froch stays up, it's another thing that should sway the judges to Taylor.

I just see everything pointing to Taylor winning on points.

Froch will get beaten down, in my view.

Froch's defence is too sloppy. He hangs his hands down low, throws slow, singular punches and doesn't cover up afterwards. Taylor will just wait for him to throw, and then bash him up with combinations. Taylor is faster and will beat him to the punch consistently. Froch just hasn't fought at the top level; he got a vacated title against a reaonable but sub-world-class Canadian. On the other hand, Taylor has proven himself against the likes of B-Hop and WW.

Taylor in an embarassingly lopsided UD.

This is by far the worst analysis of a fight dwyer's ever made. (and this is coming from someone who has a LOT of time for dwyer's analyses...)

He's WAY off on this one...pretty much everything he says is wrong.

    Dwyer:

    "Froch is a chess player."

"Taylor doesn't know how to deal with a fighter who knows how to come inside or stay outside behind his jab"... Winky had a decent jab...and Taylor did well against Lacy every time Lacy tried to come inside...

"Froch is a cerebral fighter who has the entire cupboard of skills!"

"Froch is a master at standing in the ring, just out of range."

"Taylor is a very big puncher."

"Froch will throw Taylor off his rhythm."

"Taylor will be defenceless against Froch on the inside."

"Froch will stay out of range and pick his punches like Hopkins did against Taylor in Hopkins II" - yeah, right, Dwyer, Froch is the new Hopkins...

    "Pascal is better than Taylor!"

"Froch will beat Taylor by a wide margin!"

He was also saying Taylor didn't deserve a lot of his wins. Though he's not the only one to say it, it doesn't sound like he's got much time for Taylor and that seems to be clouding his judgement.

Taylor has a pretty unique style and a lot of people underestimate how effective it is (a bit people often did with Calzaghe).

Yeah...dwyer has Taylor clearly losing both fights against Hopkins, just like he had Calzaghe losing to Hopkins clearly...:huh

I've said it before. Taylor will look like a million dollars in the first few rounds due to Froch's style of stalking and preying, but gradually Taylor's work rate will drop, he'll get sloppy, and Froch will come on strong and have him in big trouble.

There's a chance Taylor will survive to the final bell and take the verdict but I think Froch will get him.

It may be similar to Eastman-Joppy when Eastman took too long to loosen up and go for it.

I have no doubt though that Taylor will be on ***** street by the end.
