You know what, I was watching the HBO broadcast a couple of days ago and it said that Haye had an inch advantage! Crazy.

Head obviously says Ward UD, you wouldn't know your boxing if your thought anything else

But im really rooting for Froch, has so much balls and fight, isn't afraid to fight anyone or anywhere and will give his all for 12 rounds.

Not technically the best but solely as a fighter Carl Froch is one tough SOB

I see this as a true 50/50 fight. Froch has proven that he is mentally and physically as tough as you can get. I'm going to stick a decent wedge on The Cobra to win this, he's been dismissed by the critics more times than I can remember and everyone is entitled to their own opinion but in my eyes (and Al Bernsteins - another guy I respect) Froch has never been beaten.

What i like most is, Carl Froch has......since the Kessler fight........adapted to his fighter.

Maybe am wrong, i dont scrutinize him tbh but he has made light work (did what was needed without expending.....) of his opponents since then (Kessler) and i think he is gonna surprise quite a few.

    Cheers for the vid :good

Theres a few ways of looking at it , strangely one thought is simillar to your point. Froch has the reach advantage by 4 inches and froch has shown he can box and has a good jab when he uses it, double the jab and circle going in and out of the pocket to a distance where wards reach isnt effective, some will say Froch cant do that but he did and surprised many in the Abraham fight. Ok this is Ward we`re talking about, how will Ward counter this plan? with his speed? Ok say Ward starts rushing in etc, Froch if hes going to plan can step out the pocket and counter, you never know one of those uppercuts might catch Ward. But lets recall Froch can throw combos too as we saw in the Johnson fight, so ward storming in might not be so bad either for Froch, as Froch wont just take it like Kessler did he`ll return it in kind.

Another thing to think about of the two fighter which one has faced more adversity in the ring ?? Froch!! that factor might also play a part.

Another plan would be to go at Ward with constant pressure trying to give Ward no time to think, Ward can try to play it dirty but froch can do the same.

I think its a 50/50 fight but i see many overestimating Ward and underestimating Froch.

Very true. Losing that zero can really make a boxer reevaluate themselves and Froch has got very under rated skills alongside his more obvious attributes such as strength, endurance, durability, power and mentality. Since the Kessler fight Carl has really fallen back on his boxing ability and concentrated more on winning rounds, something he had neglected because he was so used to disposing of his opponents within the distance.

Ward UD, he will just be too good for Froch.

He will win by any means necessary meaning a tactical fight, he wont brawl and wont take unnessary risks.

I cant see either winning by stoppage, Ward chin is suspect to some but he was green back when he did get knocked against Darnell Boone.

One thing Id like to see is Froch go to Wards body.

Hope we get a decent under card, which is probably unlikely, I'm expecting ring walk around 4ish so I'm going to be struggling to stay awake.

Leading up to the championship unification bout between super middleweight titlists Andre Ward and Carl Froch in The Final of the Super Six World Boxing Classic, Showtime has announced a bevy of programming in support of the Oct. 29th clash. The network will introduce a new boxing program titled Staredown: Ward vs. Froch, premiere the two latest installments of FIGHT CAMP 360°: Inside The Super Six World Boxing Classic and replay some of the storied tournament’s best bouts on Showtime Extreme.

Premiering Wednesday, Oct. 5th at 7:45 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime, Staredown: Ward vs. Froch will invite fans to witness an intimate conversation between the Super Six finalists. Moderated by hard-hitting reporter Jim Gray, the short-form program will reveal the underlying tension between the world’s most talented 168-pounders as they discuss their feelings on The Final, opinions on one another and a host of other topics. Full replay schedule listed below.

After completing a successful international press tour, Andre Ward and Carl Froch are back at their respective training camps, which can only be followed by one thing: the return of FIGHT CAMP 360°: Inside The Super Six World Boxing Classic. This fall, SHOWTIME will air the three final episodes of television’s most revealing sports documentary series.

The next edition, Episode 10, will premiere on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime. Episode 11 will also premieres on SHOWTIME on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, just one week before The Final of the Super Six World Boxing Classic.

The forthcoming installments will chronicle the fight-night drama from the Super Six Semifinal matchups as only FIGHT CAMP 360° can. It will provide unique perspective into the network’s, promoters’ and, of course, fighters’ preparations for the spectacular conclusion to this extraordinary two-year journey.

The series finale—reliving The Final of the Super Six and capturing the tournament’s aftermath – will air later this fall. More details will be provided in the coming months.

In conjunction with its nightly sports block at 10 p.m., Showtime Extreme will replay the most thrilling and career defining fights of the Super Six World Boxing Classic. Fights will include Ward’s shocking, champion-capturing victory over pre-tourney favorite Mikkel Kessler, the Group Stage 2 slugfest between Froch and Kessler and both Super Six Semifinal telecasts.

Ward will have quite the resume when he beats Froch. Kessler, Abraham, Bika and Froch are some names on his record. I wonder will he stay at 168 after the tourney or move up to 175?
