If he couldn't pull rank on Kessler and force the home town issue, why would he possibly think he could on the even stubborner Abraham, and coming off a loss no less? What leverage does he think he has?

tbh i fully understand why froch is doing this. he was told the fight would be in nottingham. thats why he agreed to go to denmark for kessler. not his fault his promoter is useless.

 

I don't blame Froch. Hennessey really is a buffoon. I totally get why any fighter wants it closer to their hometown, but I'd like Froch to have the attitude he did against Taylor:

"Fine, we'll do it in your backyard and I'll still kick your ass."

 

that was after he got a big offer from DiBella. plus theres a massive difference to fighting in the US to Germany.
