Abraham was a killing machine eight pounds south but can hardly knock anybody out at SMW. It makes a difference.

They have the same reach from armpit to end of the fist and Golovkin has the better jab, best jab in boxing actually according to stats averaging 11 landed per round. Better than Klychko.

...and Miranda carried his power up. Golovkin isn't AA or Edison so who knows but he certainly hits much harder than Taylor.

Groves has a pretty good jab too and he had a harder time landing it in the rematch, because of the stance Froch was fighting in, like I said if he fights GGG like he fought GG the second time, GGG would have a harder time landing than he usually does. And I don't care Froch has the longer arms stats can be wrong, look at him they're longer.

Because he wouldn't box from the outside like he did against AA or Johnson.

I think they think Froch isn't going to box his skills are under rated you don't beat the quality of opposition he has by just taking punches to the face. If that were the case so many bums would be champs... GGG is a small MW who couldn't put away MM who is nowhere near the level of Froch. Froch was hurting the iron chin AA with jabs that caused AA to sit there and hide in his guard. Yea he's not prime and that's why I give GGG a chance. If GGG wins I will also give him full credit for all the reasons I think Froch will beat him if he wins.

Froch should just rush GGG like he did against Bute.

Froch wants to go out of boxing with a bang...but he'll go out of the ring on his back.

Would love to see this fight. win win win. If Froch wins, the fan favorite closes his career with a huge win over a current boogieman (always bonus points for that lol) if Golovkin wins, the momentum continues (I just hope he goes back down to middleweight to keep making defenses, Im serious about wanting to see him go for Hopkins's record), and no matter what, the boxing fans win for getting to see an awesome matchup.

I don't want Golovkin leaving middleweight, but obviously I wouldn't be complaining if the fight gets made.

I can see a big case for either guy winning. Its close to 50/50 to me.... Id have to wait til the weigh in to see how they size up with one another, and see how they look in training (to see how Froch is aging and to see how G carries the weight)

    Good post very objective. :good

I wouldn't mind GGG becoming lineal before the fight takes place but that would have to happen soon as Froch is old and close to retirement. I would have no problem with GGG staying at MW he isn't a big MW as it is BUT if he fought Froch I wouldn't complain it would be awesome. I wouldn't mind him fighting a couple fights at 168 first to get adjusted but it doesn't seem like any of the "right time" scenarios come into play. Let's hope for the best!

I got Froch in this fight. I've said for the longest time that GGG is just the next Lucian Bute. I think a similar scenario presents itself if these two meet in the ring.

GGG is not a small middleweight, he fights at 170 - 172. Froch IS a small super middleweight, he fights at about 172.

froch gets a brutal beating to finish his career.Im not buying it because froch says one thing and then does something else.froch also said he wanted hopkins but when hopkins called him out froch ducked the fight.froch is full of sh!t.
