The point is GGG like all fighters want the money and the WBC will show favortism to Cotto if he has a fight lined up with Canelo.

Yeah right, I'm so sure by GGG fighting Lee he would turn into a PPV star. The whole unification thing is just a ploy. GGG could fight Froch or Ward on right now on PPV and do good numbers. You and other GGG fans are happy with him beating no-hopers and Euro level guys every time out. For Cotto and Canelo, GGG isn't a priority they can make money by fighting other guys, they don't need him.:deal GGG can't that's why he needs to move on and fight guys at 168 who say they have no problems fighting him.

Oh, it's all about the money don't get me wrong, it's just convenient that the highest reward around his weight division is considerably less of a risk than Golovkin. Not a duck, a "business decision" and that's alright.

Vacating (soon), taking K9's belt (June) then a Canelo payday (Sept).

 

I am a fan of GGG and I would not like to see him in with a no-hoper ever again.

But I am also not going to ask him to leave his most comfortable weight division if he hasn't even conquered it yet. That would be dumb. By conquer, I mean beat the other top contender (Quillen-Lee winner if Cotto won't fight him in June) and then Cotto for the title later this year.
