Carl Froch has challenged American SMW champion Andre "SOG" Ward to a unification bout in his home city of Nottingham.
This would be a big fight in the UK with Froch trying to get one over the only man to hold a W over him and not have an L in return.

    Should Ward take the fight?
How do you see this fight panning out?
Can Froch do anything different to when they first met?

Respect to Froch for wanting this fight

I didn't like how Froch just accepted defeat against Ward and didn't want to rematch him

Doubt it happens but I'm happy if it does

Does Froch also want the same judges that judged the Dirrell fight?

    Thats alright if he does.

Makes Ward fight a bit more if he wants the win, which is good

Mon ami, that would mean that Ward would have to ko Froch to have a chance of winning.

I agree this fight should happen, but has to happen in a neutral territory just like the first fight.

Ward doesn't really have a choice though, if he wants to get back in the spotlight, he has to fight Froch in England.

Might be that Roc wins the bid and force Froch to duck.:think

Dirrell ran like Lara in that fight

Can't win pro fights like that

Doubt Ward would run like that anyway

The first fight was in the US. Hardly neutral territory. And don't tell me "He was just as far from home as Froch was". He was in his home country, regardless of distance.

Sky PPV + tens of thousands of Brits in seats > anything JayZ will come up with.

lol at "running". It was a boxing match not a toughman contest. Dirrell landed more punches and the most meaningful punches in that fight. Anywhere but Nottingham, Dirrell would have won the decision. It was Dirrell's job to fight his fight and Froch's job to fight his fight. From my viewpoint, Dirrell did his job better.

Why on earth would Ward deserve a 50/50 split. Froch likely made more money in his last fight than Ward has done his entire career.

Sure Ward won the first fight but that doesn't mean you get paid on equal terms.

Will be interesting to see how the negotiations will go down. Would also be interesting to see how the inactivity will have effected Ward. He won't get the chance for a warm up as the WBA have ordered the fight.

Yeah you could definitely justify a Dirrell win but if you know you're in enemy territory and still run then you run the risk of losing

When you fight in enemy territory you gotta make a statement and I didn't feel Dirrell did that

    Same goes for Lara

Lara definitely landed more and better punches in the Canelo fight but I could hardly feel any sympathy for him when he lost because the guy was out-and-out running

Yet Froch got ridiculous preferential treatment from two of the judges who gave farcical scores of 113-115, despite Ward schooling him and clearly winning every round.
