Froch: Ward a spoiler, "messer", tricks his way through fights

I find Froch's sloppy style just as boring as Andre Ward, perhaps even moreso.

I still haven't even watched Froch/Kessler.

 

I'm not completely disagreeing mate but Froch told Tris Dixon of Boxing News on Sunday that the fight he wanted most was Ward in the UK.

Now given that he lost convincingly,and will need to make this a viable concern,do you think he'll sell the casual fans who he'll need to buy PPV(Froch is a PPV guy now,so he knows what's required,as hopefully Ward will in the future)
by going around saying;"The guy beat me handily,I've really got to improve in last time to even make it competitive,and he is a better fighter.But even if we all know I probably won't win,can you still buy the PPV's because I have a beautiful wife and you know how greedy the real lookers are?"

C'mon guys.Someone has to make it an attractive proposition, so what's the problem with the guy who has PPV experience?

Ward is a bit of a spoiler though are you all blind ? he leads with his head like hopkins and bradley and hugs people when he's in danger of taking a punch back.

Ward needs his personal refs that allow him to hit on break and tell the other guy he cant hit on the break and lets him hug all night and lead with his head.

 

Anyone who has fought will know a swollen hand doesn't mean much, especially when the adrenaline is rushing you don't even feel it till ages later.

He didn't complain once in his corner and it wasn't even broken, it was slightly swollen.

Ward won 8 rounds, pretty bad when you consider how much faster he is than the slowest SMW champion in the history of boxing Carl Froch.

I suspect a rematch would be more interesting, Ward has very slight wrists and arms, his punches carry no power, Froch should know he can walk through them but Froch isn't very smart in how he throws his combos. the one thing we know is, Ward has an atrocious chin and ever since he lost to shoe salesman Boone, he has protected that chin more intently than ever, IF Froch catches him it's over. 12 rounds he didn't do it, but in 24 rounds, you'd think he would catch him just once.

 

While I think Wards style is wrong for Froch Id like to see him out of his comfort zone with fans against him and a ref that wont let him headbutt and hold.. then we will see if he is the real deal.. real champs can go anywhere and win.

 

Well have Hearn call up Ward and give him an offer

 

Ward is the most boring fighter in history, his personality is even worse, anglosaxon would of been more fun to watch, at least he has a personality.

 

Have Ward try to do his bit to make the fight an attractive proposition.

It really does surprise me that Froch's superb black humour doesn't make him an appealing figure to you.
I thought his brand of getting knickers in a twist would be right up your street.
