i think it's going to be a good fight but, ward will make it ugly. i feel froch is going to be too tough and strong for ward. plus, he's going to surprise ward and his fans with his boxing ability. he's going to set a high pace just like he did in the abraham fight. anything else won't do... and he knows it. he'll turn up ready and prepared for ward.

he could walk through ward all he wants. he will still get tagged way more than ward will. ward will pick his shots and piece him apart.

Ward is going to beat Froch about as easily as Wlad beat Haye. It will be hard for the Brits to stomach (another schooling), but that's how it's going to go down.

 

Perfect example of Froch's horrible technique. Froch beat 2 plodders. Looked horrible against Dirrell and Kessler. Ward is better then Dirrell and Kessler.

Just like how your cousin Mosley gave Pac a tough fight. Ward will school Froch. Froch's best chance is to land a game-changing haymaker.

 

I feel that after this fight there is going to be an unprecedented degree of emotional upheaval on ESB from resident Brits who have now transferred all of their collective love in to Carl Froch.

No, seriously, when Ward wins this one there may well be full-fledged ESB riots borne of anger, disappointment, and incredible amounts of denial.

 

IMO it's a question of who works the jab better in the early rounds... if Ward sticks the jab to Froch's nose more than anything without Froch connecting, Ward gains a mental advantage. Froch won't pull an all-out smart boxing AA fight vs Ward, quite the opposite I think. Suffering a disadvantage in handspeed, he'll resort to the brawler style at some point and start swinging for the fences. I'm not sure Ward seriously wants to use the pocket this much in this fight, as Froch has proven to be one tough SOB so far. I think Ward will potshot Froch from mid-range all night making the rangey Froch miss 99% of the time for a wide UD, otherwise slim chances for a late Froch TKO assuming Ward is not the actual S-O-G...

 

Where were they more delusional? Haye vs Wlad? Hatton vs Mayweather? Or Froch vs Ward?


Suffice to say Haye and Hatton really hadnt been exposed yet. Froch struggled against Taylor, Dirrell and Kessler.
