Ok all the BS on this site is reaching epic proportions. The way I see it being a fan of neither fighter really is Ward is ranked number 1 and Froch has worked his way back to the number 2 position after a pretty unanimous decision. (although as a side note I think Ward as good as he is, is a pretty dirty fighter what he did to Kessler inparticular all elbows and headbuts was pretty naughty) That being said the guy is world class and No 1 in his division.

What I fail to see here is why there is any debate surely any fighter not only wants to challenge themselves but earn as much money as possible while doing it. Ward's only fight at 168 is Froch Ward's only money fight at 168 is against Froch in England because it will do very little in the US this is pretty unanmiously agreed upon.

Let the fight happen Wemberley stadium both fighters could get upwards of 10 million each easily there biggest ever payday and after either Ward can walk away from 168 a rich man with no pears or it sets up a trilogy and another mahoosive payday.

Honestly, this Froch being the money-man thing is being exaggerated way too much. 10 million each? Really? I'd be surprised if they barely even made half of that for both Froch and Kessler combined. Yet somehow they're gonna' pluck 20 million for Ward? Yeah right.

Why not that is going to be 80,000 tickets sold for stadium, I would guess huge PPV numbers on both sides of the Atlantic. The full weight of Sky behind it there is money to be made in that fight big money 20 million is a realistic number

Lets stop with the Wembley. That's not going to happen. But Ward should man up, come over here and fight. There's more money in it over here. And Froch has already fought him in his home country. TBH I think it will Happen because Ward seems to be a decent guy. I only hope he doesn't price himself out. 60/40 Ward would be fair imo.

i have a feeling that if Froch was seriously interested in fighting Ward, that Ward would oblige him in Britain, IF Froch's promotion ponied up the dough to entice him. Ward basically hinted that in the Froch/Kessler post-fight interviews...

I think Ward does want to fight Froch in Britain, but wants to get a generous deal out of it....

    This.

If Froch actually wants the fight, he should be on Hearns day and night to make the call and offer Ward a kings ransom to come fight in Britain.

Ward said, hes willing to fight there, but Hearns needs to pick up the phone.

Ward gains nothing but money by fighting Froch. So if Ward wants the payday, then he should re-match Froch, and fight over in the U.K if that's what it takes. If Froch wants to avenge that defeat, and improve his legacy, then he should do what it takes to get the rematch, including fighting in America. This all comes down to what each guy puts a premium on.
