Even old Froch was a lot tougher than Martin Murray, Jacobs, Stevens, etc with endless stamina & 2fisted power to boot!
Geale was shot after He faced Golovkin..never the same...but having said that Geale was very well handled to achieve what he did...
WBC champion Sergio Martinez's promoter Lou Dibella would rather have let Jimmy Savile babysit his children than let Sergio within a 1000 mile radius of GGG when Sergio held the WBC crown. WBA champion Sturm ducked GGG like he had Ebola and the Bubonic Plague at the same time, and ducked him for years and years. WBC champion Cotto sure didn't want no part of GGG. He wouldn't have fought him even if he caught wind of him having two gammy knees. WBO champion Peter Chocolate turned down a shot at GGG's WBA crown before he had his own strap and before the onset of the Cold War and you could literally hear the pee pee running down his legs whenever someone mentioned GGG's name in his presence Former WBC champ Chavez Jr. turned down a king's ransom to face GGG. 2 x Interim world champion N'Dam ducked GGG like three or four times and he even vacated his WBA interim strap rather than face him after the WBA had ordered him to square off with him for the full title, IIRC. Former WBA SMW champion Anythony Mundine turned down a vacant WBA title shot against GGG despite agreeing to fight him in his back garden. He said he had bigger fish to fry only to then fight a street vendor and a lifeguard. There was a thread on the Aussie forum at the time where many posters were predicting Mundane was going to pull the duck. IBF champion Darren Barker's promoter Eddie Hearn publicly admitted that he didn't want Barker to go anywhere near GGG but that he was eager to stick him in with every other MW who held a strap on the planet. He even admitted in one interview on YT that GGG had offered to come to England to fight Barker for free. WBO champion Dmitry Pirog and GGG signed to fight in a WBA/WBO unification match up and the only reason they didn't was because Pirog pulled out, and he had a legitimate reason to do so because he suffered a terrible neck/back injury and hasn't fought since. GGG was all set to fight Chris Eubank Jr. in his country (ie. England) until the later pulled out. And the only reason GGG doesn't have Canelo's name on his resume yet is because the later didn't want it until now. As for Froch, well GGG agreed to fight him in England (ie. Froch's country), and for his first fight at SMW. GGG is not the one to blame for that fight never happening. And GGG didn't just want to fight these guys or try to do so, he either offered to fight many of them or would have been doing so in their countries too.
