The thing that Grates My Gears are the Fools on Here calling Fighters Like Lemeiux....Monroe...Macklin...and Heaps of other Fighters Bum's...Take into account they stepped up when Plenty of other so called A Side Fighters refused to against probably one of the Most Feared and Dominant Middleweights we have seen for some time..These People give them no Creedence.....Yet they Jump on Board the Canelo Train when He gave Up His Middleweight Belt rather than Fight Golovkin.....then He Fights a Shot Cotto...Liam Smith for God sake and to Top it off an absolute Shot and weight drained Chavez...and they Love It Give Us more they shout for there Hero .....in the same Breath these Hypocrites Scream...who has Golovkin Fought...I have been in the game a long time and i can honestly say I have never seen a more uneducated Bunch of Fan's before in my Lifetime...a lot of it is obviously Trolling but quite a lot would be so called educated Fan's....it is Laughabale really the Bull Sh1t Spewed on Here...
I used to like Froch... but he thinks too highly of himself. Yes he has a good chin and GGG won't stop him likely but GGG comfortably out boxes him and Froch won't be able to rely on his power to bail him out as GGG also has a granite chin.
Why would Froch have come out of retirement to fight at 160 against the best 160 in god knows how long? He didn't have that hunger or desire anymore and so he stepped out the game at the right time. Froch's resume' though is exceptional, I was surprised someone earlier in the thread questioned it... Ward, Taylor, Kessler, Dirrell, Abraham, Groves, Bute etc Until GGG steps up to fight a 168 we will never really know how good he is. I fancy Canelo to beat him because apart from that bludgeoning power, I think Canelo is better than him in every department.
Golovkin would have fought Froch at 168, if only Froch didn't decide that he had to wash his hair instead. http://www.*******.com/golovkins-coach-explains-why-froch-worth-168-not-ward--102834
everyone that was around. You cant expect a 37 year old to be going after prime chunky, although he beat a guy twice who had just baten chunky.
He didn't fight Bika, Stiegliztz, De Gale, Green, Manfredo Jr, Calzaghe, Beyer, Lacy, Mundine, Andrade... I'm sure there'd be others if I looked into it. He didn't give Pascal or Dirrell rematches. He only avenged his Kessler loss when Kessler was out of his prime. He only rematched Groves because Groves beat him silly until the ref saved him. Also just because Froch beat Groves doesn't mean he would beat De Gale.
The other factor to remember is that the GGG at the time Froch was taking on Groves2 was IMO better than the GGG of now. He was at his peak back then. I thought at the time it woulda been 50/50 and woulda been one of the greatest fights of all time. Froch/GGG 2/3 years ago woulda been like Gatti/Ward. Helluva spectacle.
you know as well as I do that calzaghe left the division and surrended the title as soon as froch became his mando. Calzage didnt want tough fights, his own words. I mean... Bika, Manfredo... tv show boxers? really? Do you get that froch wouldnt want crap on his title resume? Lacy...really? the guy who got stopped by shot 40somethings? Beyer? how old was he by then? your only real cases are Stieglitz and hmmm Mundine?
They are all cases. I'm not saying Froch should have fought them and I have no doubt he would have beat most of them but he didn't fight everyone, he ducked rematches that didn't suit him and retired at the thought of stepping in with GGG.
35 isnt 37 ... and you are actully trying to compare froch and 3g, serious? froch fought all his canelos already, and better, so your point is awful. and like i said, he wasnt expected to face chunky at age 37, but he beat the guy who beat chunky, and did it again. thats massively positive, not a negative as you are reading it.
