Ward wanted GGG when he was back at 168 for years. Also besides Froch, Ward would have given GGG a career high payday at 168. Ward is at 175 now he's not scared of daring to be great like GGG is and his resume and his career reflect it. Ward>GGG
Wrong! Kessler was considered elite when he fought Calzaghe, his best win I might add. Also he and Abraham were co favorites of the Super 6 Where have you been? Ward was seen as basically a throw in who had little to no chance of winning. Infact his fight with Kessler was supposed to be Kessler's coming out party to the American public and Ward was supposed to be easy work for him. Too bad for Kessler Ward didn't get that script and the rest is history.
Kessler was prime when he fought Calzaghe, but he was OUT of his prime during Wards era. Abraham is a one dimensional plodder, the very fact that he was one of the favorites to win the super six including a washed up kessler proves just how overrated the super middle weight division was.
Kessler was still prime coming into the Super 6 and Abraham was seen as a KO monster with and Iron chin. Kessler fought Ward only 2 years and 3 fights after he lost to Calzaghe and after Ward beat him he then went on to beat Froch but you want me to believe he was shot??? Abraham went on to win titles years after he lost to Ward but he was shot??? Funny after Ward dispatches both they all of a sudden become shot. Try telling this to someone who doesn't know better and doesn't follow boxing because I do.
That's where you're wrong. Ward can't draw flies to ****. GGG would be carrying the viewership. Ward said he's not going to 168 for Golovkin. It's official.
Neither can GGG. Despite all his fanboys on the net they don't buy his fights. What were his buys on his last PPV?
I haven't even watched it lol. Your projecting your own fears on to that of professional fighters. It don't work like that, 99% of the time
Kessler was at the top of his game when he fought Calzaghe. Not so much when he faced Ward. Abraham is a one dimensional plodder, winning titles isnt impressive nowadays.
Although I firmly believe Froch wasn't scared, he wanted the deck stacked in his favour a little to much. He wanted it virtually at light heavy !
