Froch had an offer of $10 million on the table to fight a guy from MW in front of his homecrowd in a stadium. How and why Froch declined that opportunity is beyond me. Froch kept saying he already fought in a stadium vs. Groves and feels doing it again wouldn't be anything special anymore -- that seemed like a somewhat weird explanation on why he was so keen on retiring.
Why would I wake you when i just shut you up/down with one single sentence? Keep up the good work bro
LMAO You're too stupid to shut down your TV without direction. The fact of the matter is, Hagler, Monzon and Hopkins didn't drag up any welters. It just so happens that YDKSAB and I don't have the patience to properly educate you. Carry on Einstein. Lol..
Triggered. Haha haha that's it dance for me good boy dance! 2010: See, Welters. Your words genius. Hagler. As I said, worked for him... 'Drag up' is your vernacular. Not mine. I simply pointed out they fought Welter's. Former or not. Fact's. Learn to embrace them.. Want your Hopkins Trinidad, ODH ones too?
& I don't know what your problem with 'MW welters' is all of a sudden, here you are admitting the best MW ever was one:
... and destroyed the Canelo payday that GGG is getting right now at the same time. Besides I'm not so sure that is even true, GGG is the bigger draw than Ward (both don't draw much compared to Canelo but GGG's fights bring in considerably more money), yet Ward wanted it on his terms (at least 50-50 money and at 168 lb).
Froch earned the right to choose what fights he wanted by the time the Golovkin fight was a possibility, he'd already fought every elite SMW for years. In the end he decided that the spectacular KO of Groves was the right way to go out. That being said, his famous quote "swerve GGG like a mule" shows how highly he regarded GGG. Froch is just sick of people saying he ducked GGG without considering that he was basically retired when the GGG fight became realistic. If Froch was younger I have no doubt they would've fought, both are warriors.
Froch wanted nothing to do with GGG just like every middleweight has. And now GGG has started to look old so Cinnamon has decided to man up. ****ing joke. Froch should shut his big ****ing toilet.
Am I imagining things, or didnt Froch decide he didnt want to fight Kessler in Scandinavia which was the Super 6 contract?
Yea Froch probably wasn't up for it at his age...but he wasn't never afraid of Golovkin imo. It would have been a great fight actually
I'm a big fan of Froch as a fighter. He took on all the challenges he possibly could have at 168. The antithesis of Joe Calzaghe. When he said he'd "swerve Golovkin", I thought fair enough, it's refreshing to hear such honesty. But to hear him contradict himself is just embarrassing. Thank you for the fights, Carl. We were watching. Including your interviews, don't forget. Styles make fights. And your penetrable defence put up against Golovkin's concussive punching power is only going to end one way.
And to top it off, shot Cotto is a midget in the 160lb class . By the way, was Cotto shot before or after he mopped the floor with Geale?
