no he didn't. which fight did he need the ref to help him in?

some fights in the UK do get stopped too soon, but it's not down to corruption or anything. it's down to some refs being over zealous with the safety of fighters.

we've had some fights turn out bad in the UK. Watson, Ingle, McCllellan etc etc... they think that fights should be stopped if the opponent isn't in the fight. if they're not being competitive, they save them for another day.

i don't like it when it happens, but i can see it from their point of view.

Froch gets the crowds in and fights in an exciting manner. he doesn't need Ward in any way shape or form.

i'm sure he has fans all over the world. he's one of the most exciting fighters in boxing, why wouldn't he have lots of fans?

he sold out the O2 in his last fight within hours also. that shows the pull that Froch has.

they thought that Froch (WBC) Kessler (WBA) and undefeated former Middle champ, Abraham, would be the better choices.

 

well, you'll stop guys in their tracks if you continue to grab hold of them 100 times a round. that does tend to happen.

and if the ref allows you to continue to abuse the rule of boxing, that's a sure fire way to win. isn't it? :think
