    froch by ko

    witter by ko

fewkes by ko.........not really, but by UD. I don't mind murray but i think he's going to made to look pretty one-dimensional against fewkes

I'm going as well!! And will definately be supporting The Crime City Cobra

Froch by stoppage of some sort

I posted a request for info about Bradley in the main forum and didn't receive one reply, so if the Yanks don't know anything about him, my guess is that Witter will be far too good for him.

Fewkes to outbox Murray. Murray hasn't kicked on following his early promise, and everytime I've seen Fewkes on tv I've been impressed

Thought you were leaning towards Murray in your thread about this match up....?

Just out of interest - apart from the one dimensional comment, what makes you favour Fewkes now?

I don't think Murrary has the power to KO Fewkes, who seems savvy enough to be able to stay out of trouble.

If the Americans aren't hyping an unbeaten prospect, then he can't be that good, therefore Witter KO.

Not seen anything of Berrio, but going by experience, when guys take fights at a couple of weeks notice, they are generally underprepared, therefore Frich, one way or the other!

I do rate Fewkes - slippery fighter to pin down but he can look vulnerable when pressured.

I wouldn't rule out a stoppage win for Murray.

with my memory, every day is like a clean slate...:tired

i did originally favour murray i think just as a bit of an over-reaction comparing fewkes performance against reid and murrays performance against hickman.

but now i'm thinking that murray hasn't really been in with anyone like fewkes and the yorkshireman will be more prepared to deal with murrays style. i can see murray getting frustrated all night.

Murray is the more experienced of the two - if he is on form I think he has the ability to break an opponent down bit by bit with his more aggressive relentless style.

The size of the ring could be key in this fight - it will suit Murray for it to be smaller and give Fewkes less space to do the sort of back pedalling he did against Reid.

Murray usually seems quite calm and measured but I see what you are saying about him getting frustrated - because of Fewkes elusive style.

Great match up - could argue its deserving of topping a domestic bill in its own right.

Totally agree this fight Murray V fewkes should have had top billing on Friday fight night maximum exposure for both the lads instead of being hid down the froch bill.
I bet Sky tv are not happy after building both boys up over the last few years they then see them both go and box on another network.
Frank Warren trys to get all the advantages for his boxers , it seems Mick Hennessey has for this bill with Froch and Witter getting a big ring , yet it does not need a genius to work out it will suit Fewkes more then Murray. Thats why this fight should of happened on its own at York Hall bethnell green or in Manchester/ sheffield.

    Adnan Amar - future legend.

Apparently is going to be the next big thing at welterweight - I suppose that is why he only has 5 KO's in 20 odd fights and has been pissing about with six rounders against bums!

Wasn't Amar scheduled to fight Matthew Hatton? Does anyone know why M.Hatton pulled out?
