The division is certainly not as bad as when Johnson, Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, Holmes, Tyson, etc. reigned. That's the truth of the matter. We have more diversity in the division than we've ever had due to the collapse of the Soviet Union amoungst other things. Learn to appreciate what you have before it's gone. Most of my boxing fan friends hated Lewis until he retired and then they knew what they ahd when Ruiz, Byrd, etc. were ruling the belts.

In fairness what you say is right.
Wlad is a good boxer.
Its just his style kills me.
My all time favourite fighter is Nigel Benn if you know who that is.
He was a brawler who never had a boring fight and you couldnt blink watching him.
I just cant get in to Wlads boxing style and believe me i have tried.
Thats not to say he is a bad boxer because he obviously is not.

I'm mostly a fan of the Heavys but I'll watch anybody fight anytime. I watch MMA too, you got a problem with that?

I'm 42. I've been watching boxing since I was about 4 or 5 years old. I saw many of Ali's fights when they actually happened. I was in 7th grade or so when Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Roberto Duran, Tommy Hearns all fought.
