Damn wlad cheats. But I don't blame him. His chin is as bad as michael grants.

Do you think Michael Grant would have won a rematch with Lewis?

I'm just curious because a Klitschko fan a couple of pages ago seemed to think WALDO would beat Sanders every time they fought. Apart from the one time they did actually fight, obviously.

I had never heard of a spanner until tonight.

Things would be different if Wlad HAD to fight and go to war and all the stuff people like to watch. But the simple fact is he doesn't have to, and it's a good decision for his health and longevity (and yes, his chin). If a guy can force him to, then more power to him. It happened in the past, but no one's doing it now, it's not Wlad's fault. Why should he change gameplans when he doesn't need to? I certainly wouldn't.

It probably is, the only difference is Wlad knows how to protect it more with clinches, better overall guard, and he paces himself now, something he never did before Steward got ahold of him and his ATG jab helps to keep his oppenents at a great enough distance where they are no longer a threat by the middle rounds.

Todays HW division is just trash, honestly a peak Mercer would have beat Wlad, ( I know some Klithugger will claim at 41 Mercer was peak when he fought Wlad) Guys like Valuev, Arreola, Peter, Chageav etc are elite, I thought things were bad when Byrd and Ruiz were champs, man this is the worse era ever.

Anyone else laughing at the idea of Wlad trying to fight heavyweights with Froch's style?

A peak Mercer would of got in on Wlad, that much I know. We all know what happends to fighters that get on the inside and pressure Wlad?

Well the division today is no better or worse than it was in 04-05 when it was all Americans holding the belts, Ruiz (WBA), Bryd (IBF), Rahman (WBC), and Brewster (WBO). Since fighters like Lewis, Holyfield, and Tyson either retired or became no longer a factor in the early 2000's, the Heavyweight division went to **** IMO.

Wow this has taken a weird turn.

I dont know that anyones problem with this is

Can anyone really argue that Wlad is devestatingly effective at what he does ? No

Can anyone really argue that Wlad does not fight an aggressive and "ballsy" style ? No

So what the **** is all this pish about ???

Wlad is an excellent fighter at controling range and using the jab. However when people go at him it is obvious he doesnt like it. Does that make him less effective at his way , no it doesnt but to suggest he is even as aggressive or gutsy as his brother is clearly madness.

So why the **** are you all throwing your toys out the pram ?????

Carl Froch is a very good fighter and I like him a lot but it seems that he makes some poor judgements based on his friendship with Haye. If he were a real friend of Haye's, he would not say those things. He is misleading Haye.

Two very different scenarios. Lewis was superior to Grant overall. Just look at their fights with common opponent Golota.

Sanders had the right tools and gameplan to beat an unprepared Wlad who didn't even know he was fighting a southpaw coming into the ring. sanders was never an overall better fighter than Wlad. The current version of Wlad would have a very good chance of beating the version of Sanders that beat him. Grant could only beat Lewis if he came in underprepared, as he did against Rahman.

That's exactly how I see it too. Wlad has improved his inside game but he'll never be that type of fighter. Why fix it if it ain't broke. Bowe was a real good inside fighter.

Okay, so Wlad's footwork is ****, his power is crap & his speed is average. That won't help your cred.................
