People are making this fight much closer than it really was, partly be cause they listened to Bernstein's comments. Bernstein is a semi ****** and would be doing a better job if he would just stick to play by play. Kessler out worked Froch round after round and I have no problem with judges seeing this as a clear victory. Being close in many rounds is not the same thing as winning a lot of rounds. Dirrell should have won the fight with Froch by several points, that fight was not close either.

In terms of winning fans I agree as this is the first fight I've seen Froch in that he impressed me. He is very durable and dangerous throughout 12 rounds and I can see him making most of his fights exciting.

  3. I thought Kessler pulled it out. But Froch had him hurt a couple times... it was a pretty good fight.

Well it was a close fight, and yes froch had him hurt, while kessler never. Kessler outworked him, but it was just easy punches, while froch landed with clear authority!!!

I had Froch winning, but there was enough really close rounds that I don't have a problem with the decision going to Kessler (the amounts he won by are a different story).

In a sense both guys impressed and surprised me. Froch's defense was better than I expected, and his ability to take Kessler's shots as well. Taylor & Dirrell hurt him worse than Kessler did.

Kessler had a bit of a rep as a front-runner with questionable heart. He gutted it out and showed a lot of heart in this fight.

No he didn't he just boxed in a way he knew would get him the home town cooking decision and for a lot of the fight looked **** poor.
But Froch cant complain because of the dirrell result but two wrongs don't make a right.

7-5, on a round by round basis, in favor of Kessler. Froch had the most authority in there, but he didn't do enough. He pretty clearly got outdone in rounds 6-9, and that right there is where the fight was lost for him.

Again same genius that said Kessler would pull out of tourney rather than face Froch. Same guy that said said Froch would KO Kessler in two rounds. I know it isn't easy being wrong but you knew god damn well your money was gone at the end of the 12th round. I hope you bet on this fight.

I love the people saying that Froch had Kessler hurt, and Kessler never had Froch hurt. Bull****. They both hurt each other at various stages in the fight. The punch Kessler landed that ****ed up Froch's nose was the most damaging of the fight and Froch was CLEARLY hurt and unsteady.

Froch lost. Boxrec doesn't give a **** what you think, and neither will posterity. His 0 went. Suck it up.

Froch fans arent you guys still ranting about dirrell losing and that his fans need to get over it? take a page from your own book, look at boxrec and get over it. your boy lost regardless of what happened in the ring.
